It's a solidly constructed lock, but after a week or so of use, the case it came in fell apart and it left a rectangular impression in my throttle grip that still hasn't gone away almost a year later. If you have handlebars that do not have an impressionable material, it probably wouldn't be a problem. Additionally, the adhesive that secures the liner to the metal frame is not suitable for heat: left my bike in the good ol' southern sun for a couple hours while at work and that liner slipped right off after I unlocked it (no, the missing liner wasn't the cause of the indentation. that happened with that padding still attached). Good device if those aren't an issue for you though. It'll definitely keep your brake engaged.

These come in a black zip up case so you can carry them in your backpack while you ride or in your seat without them banging around since they’re metal. Which I think is really considerate. They’re exactly as described. Comes with 2 keys. Easy to apply & helps me feel safer that no one is gonna get the bright idea to walk away with my bike. Used on both CBR500 & Z650. They fit perfect & are the correct size for both bikes. Worth the price IMHO. Good prevention.

Perfect for me. I recently purchased a Lectric XP-3 e bike for errands/utility. This brake lock is used for the front brake. (Together with, at the rear tire/frame with a nice jointed/folding key lock.) I like the fact that it is adjustable/adaptable for my other 2 wheeled vehicles as well. Easy on/off. If the named tab comes off, it's an easy re-glue or a RTV silicone blob to cure that. I will purchase more of these for my other 2 wheelers for convenience. (Each vehicle has differing adjustments.)I also purchased a tracking tag, that's hidden as further security. (Can never be too careful these days.)Recommended if it fits yours.

This is a great lock to put around the front brake lever and throttle. When you press in the little round lock, the bike is not moving unless it is picked up off of the ground. The lock is made of solid aluminum which would be very difficult to cut. You can screw in a portion of the lock to adjust to your particular motorcycle to bring the front brake lever closer or further away. If I was looking for a bike to steal and I saw this lock on the brake and throttle, I would go look for a bike that was not locked like this.

I got this for my 2018 Grom. I like that the lock was universal as I was able to adjust it smaller to fit my bike. It is pretty heavy and seems to be made durable. It comes with a simple case, 2 keys and a thing to turn and adjust lock. Once locked you can not pull it off or adjust it. The function of this lock is great. The negative is the pricing, I wouldn't say this lock is worth $30. It seems very overpriced for what it does, even if it is made of good quality. There are much cheaper locks out there with an audible alarm or other features than just locking the break that you could get equal or less than this. If you do purchase this lock, I would recommend to use it along with other means to try and prevent theft.
