This wall mount is plenty sturdy enough to hold a heavy riding coat and helmet, though I would suggest you make sure to anchor it into a stud or some other area of solid wood. This makes it handy to access your riding gear in the garage.

This is a well-built unit for hanging my motorcycle helmet and jacket. It fits perfectly in my garage, and the design is attractive enough that I’d consider hanging it in my house as well. Plus, it's priced affordably. It's a much better solution than leaving my gear on a garage chair or draping it over my motorcycle. I can easily see using several of these to accommodate my multiple helmets. It’s a sturdy, reliable unit that I’m confident will securely hold my gear without any issues.

Finally mounted this to store my helmets (put my full helmet on the actual mount and then hanging my half helmet from the small hook rather than hanging a jacket or anything). Excellent quality material. Wish the upper bolt mount hole was drilled just a touch lower as my Milwaukee drill had a bit of difficulty fully driving it in given it was coming into contact with the upper helmet flange. But all in all, excellent product at the current price point!!

I picked this up so my son would be able to hang his helmet and protective moto clothing when he visited. It's not attractive, but the sturdy hook comes with hardware designed to support the weight of motorcycle gear. This mount does a great job keeping his gear off the floor or furniture and allows everything to air out and stay out of the way.

Have a friend with kids who plays tackle football and in their garage they had a hanging setup for their helmet, pads and jerseys. Thought it was pretty cool and kepts things neat. He mentioned to look for a motorcycle helmet rack and this is what led me to this.Perfect setup. Son really likes it and we use stiffer hangers to hang the football shoulder pads and jersey. For the pants, we just put on seperate hanger with pant clips. Works out well and keeps things tidy instead of thrown on the ground. For the price point, really tough to beat unless you are a good DIYer but even then the time spent making something similar is just not worth it versus the durability.I comes with wall mounting screws but I had some 2.5" wood screws so we could set against a wall stud for extra support.Great accessory for any motorcyclist, bike rider and/or football player.

This is a nice little unit for hanging up my helmet and a jacket. It’s a great size for the space in my garage. It’s cool enough that I would hang it in my house too. Also for a good price. This is a much better solution than putting it on my seat or sitting in my bike’s mirror. I could see having multiple of these for my multiple helmets. It’s a solid unit that I have no doubt will hold up my helmet and jacket.

I came back a couple weeks later to review this and am finding that the version I have isn't listed at the moment - perhaps they are out of stock? I guess mine was "Model A" since the current one is listed as "Model B". Both were listed when I got mine though, so I specifically chose this version. This version keeps the helmet closer to the wall and more vertical. The rack itself does not protrude away from the wall as much when it's empty either - something I really liked about the version I have. The Model B version reminded me more of a motorcycle display shop, while I needed something for in my garage so I could stop hanging the helmet on the handlebars, my jacket on the seat, and my chaps somewhere randomly depending on weather. The metal is thick and it's decently heavy, the wood top is a nice accent to it and makes me hope that it won't harm the padding like rough medal edges might. For the price ($12 at this time) it's a great deal. It comes with two large screws and matching mollies to mount it if you're not going right into a stud. Either way, stud or mollies, I'd use a drill first. The size of the screws could easily split your stud if you don't pre-drill.I like that there's two "hooks" on the bottom, it allow me to hang my chaps on one, and still be able to hang my jacket (without a hanger) on them too. With the way my helmet hangs on this model, I put my gloves in the helmet, just like I do when I'm out riding and stop somewhere anyway.
