The bike got run over by a careless truck driver while it was parked in a stall. The lock still works though.

This handlebar motorcycle lock is great at giving me a little piece of mind when I am parking my motorcycle on the street. Easy to use and stored away.

Donde yo vivo no tengo garaje y dejaba mi cuatri afuera por lo que la marraba a una cerca, pero si algún día dormía en otro lado tenia que andar cargando la cadena. Esto es más fácil de transportar

Seems like a quality built product, but it does not fit thicker aftermarket grips.

Got this product because I park in some sketchy places for hours at time. As far as I can tell, this works! My bike is where I left it every time when I come back! It locks well and is easy to get on and off. It also looks pretty sleek with the glossy red finish. This product also works well in the rain (pics above). I feel as this also works as a deterrent for bike thieves so they will generally leave your bike alone if they see this lock knowing it will be that much harder to move.

I bought the product and initially liked it a lot. It was easy to use and seemed quite robust. However, less than 2 months later, the product is completely USELESS.I don't know what happened, but the LOCK SIMPLY FELL OFF, and now I can't use it anymore.I would like to receive a replacement or a refund.

I think they should warn people that the rubber inserts will fall out. It didn't mention glue so now I don't have the large one that goes on the handle bar itself. Otherwise great product.

Not fail proof but good for deteri ng passing opportunists. Only downside are the rubber pads. It would be nice if they were self adhering.

I have one of these and two wheel locks, on my expensive dual motor scooter, No one tampers with it when I lock it in town, it requires too much effort to pinch and then unlock. A great deterrent, it keeps the break engaged too another useful feature.

This lock looks nice and the quality seems good but I can only give it 3 stars for the following reasons:1. It's not the easiest thing to use. It takes two hands to get it on and off which is fine, I expected that but it does require a little bit of nimble handedness to squeeze the cable as you are putting it on while trying to keep the rubber pads from either falling out or shifting.2. It comes with two sets of rubber pads and what looks like a big piece of rubberized shrink tubing (I'll discuss that tubing later). The pads do not fit well and they are not at all secure when put in place.3. Since the pads do not cover all the areas of contact, the aluminum body of the lock caused some very slight scratches on my brake lever and some very noticeable scratches on the leather wraps around my grips. Granted, it might not be a problem on the grips if I just had rubber grips but I did not expect scratching on the leather.4. Since the rubber pads that came with it were almost useless, I got the idea to cut pieces of that rubber shrink tubing I mentioned earlier and secure them in the areas of contact. I didn't want to glue them in in case I want to return this item, so I cut some strips of athletic tape to secure them in place along with one of the rubber pads. It kind of spoils the look of the lock but I was somewhat successful in reducing the scratching since the pieces I put in created a barrier between the metal body of the lock and my lever and grip. I don't think I should have had to take a good hour to figure all this out.So why didn't I just return it? I actually like the concept of how this lock works and think it can be effective as a theft deterrent. With a little more attention to detail like designing rubber pads that will snap in securely and cover all the problem areas, this has the potential of being at least a solid 4 and likely a 5 star product. I really hope that ToolWRX considers these things and improves this product.

El material es muy resistente, es grande pero se ve bien.No se si le confiaría toda la seguridad solo al candado yo lo acompaño con un candado de disco.

Ok, to be fair, the product is great. My problem is, after purchasing it for my winterized motorcycle, I feared leaving it either on the clutch or the brake for 4 months might cause the cable to seize and, create even more problems. Therefore, I never put it on the bike.People said, this would not happen. However, I am old. Old enough to remember parking breaks on cars seizing up if left on for a long period of time. Maybe young whipper-snappers today are ignorant of that occurring but I clearly remember it. Nice product, just not going to use it over the winter. When in season I will use it for stops and goes - short term use.

This is a cheap, convenient and light security solution to protecting your motorcycles from theft. By using this lock grip, it will help prevent someone from jacking your bike. Applying it to your brake levers makes it significantly harder to roll the bike away. See my included photos for how it looks when on a bike. From my research, this seems to be (at time of review) the best value handlebar lock available with this design on Amazon now.The finish on this is nice and matches well with my red Yamaha FZ07. Setup and use is easy and straightforward. The cutouts in the lock perfectly fit over your handlebar and lever. With some practice, you can actually apply it and lock it with one hand. That can be handy if you're other hand is holding your gear. This stands out from other similar locks because of its included lever sleeve (which prevents your levers from getting scratched when using the lock), rubber adapter pieces (to make a more snug fit), and the extra key.The sleeve is definitely a must have and no brainer unless you want your levers scratched. I think the rubber adapter pieces aren't really necessary by design of how the lock stays on and is used. I would have preferred if the adapter parts were just installed by default. What's most important, however, is making sure the actual lock is of solid quality and couldn't be broken by a thief easily. It achieves this for sure. What's great, is that this is still a lightweight solution which isn't bulky or annoying to carry around. In fact, I rode back home with the lock in my jacket pocket without issue.Overall, this becomes a key must have product for added bike security without the inconvenience of other solutions. I imagine it would be even more useful when paired with a protective cover which could also be locked.I hope this review helps.
