Motorcraft-Oil Filter

Motorcraft filters are engineered to the high quality standards of the Ford Motor Company and are recommended by Ford as the original equipment replacement filter for Ford, Lincoln and Mercury vehicles. They are designed to help protect against engine wear by screening out abrasives, such as carbon, sand, dust and bits of metal before they can get into your oil. Pressure-relief valves help minimize the chance of contaminated oil circulating back into the engine and also help maintain the supply of oil to the engine under extreme cold conditions or if the filter gets clogged. The outer casings are constructed of steel, “ironed” for a precise fit, painted to resist rust and include flutings to ease removal. The efficient filter media offers increased dirt-collecting capability and ability to capture more engine-harming particles. Silicone anti-drain back valves help prevent oil from draining out of the filter and engine when the engine is not running and resist the aging effects that an engine’s high heat can cause.

Fits 2016 ford mustang Ecoboost as a larger size option. Works well. Install was easy and quick. Likes that it came vacuum sealed. Definitely my go to and will be running these high quality oil filters from now on. Great oil filter!

bought these for 2002 2.3l ranger and works great, holds lots of oil compared to other 4 cylinder cars I've owned and it has the silicone anti-drain back valve which is a must. No dry starts and lasts a long time.

Good OEM filter. I thought I was buying a higher capacity model based on the Part number and photo but it isn't.It will work fine but next time I will research the choices a little better.

The filter I ordered was a 400S and that is what showed up. So we used it on a 2007 Lincoln MKZ 3.5L

These are longer than the FL910S that's recommended for this vehicle, but it fits perfect and clears the undertray. It has the bypass valve at the top of the filter so no dirty oil is recirculated into the engine. Being larger than the stock filter, it has more filter media, making it flow more freely. Amazon is the only place I can source these in Australia, but they're not always available.

I substituted the Motorcraft FL-400-S Oil Filter in place of the OEM spec'd FL-910S model this unit fits perfectly and has more surface filtration are, a little more for my peace of mind LOL> I read others have done this and figured why not! Works perfectly and cost the same. I wonder why Ford didn't spec this one as the OEM unit? There's more than enough room for the longer unit in my car. I bought (2) so I have another when my next change comes due.P.S. Using Full Synthetic engine oil since day one, this change I used Amazon Basics 5W20 bought the 1-Qt. size x 6 bottles perfect fill to capacity. Watched a YOU TUBE video or two on the Amazon Oil and it tested very highly so I figured I give it a try.

I purchased this product for my Husquarvana LTH1842 lawnmower. They are a little longer than those supplied by Husqvarna but fit perfectly. If you have another lanmower type/engine google "aftermarket oil filters for..." (your model mower) for options. Motocraft is a brand I trust so I had no resevations in purchasing as a replacement for the Husqvarna supplied filter at many times the price.
