I like WIX filters just fine, everyone who digs into brands and whatnot has opinions of what's best but at the end of the day, it probably doesn't matter as much as opinions imply. These go on and come off just fine, implied as a good brand, reviews implied good as well. Generally available. Win.

Perfect filter for my 2018 f150 3.5 EB. When you demand alot from your vehicle choose a brand you can trust, wix is the best.

Great filters, highly rated by mechanics. According to Amazon, “this filter does not fit your 2019 Ford F150”, WIX Filters fitment chart says it does. I’ll go with the WIX chart.

Fits my auto and says it is good for 20,000 miles, but I change every 10,000 miles using full synthetic. Reviews state that the WIX XP oil filters are some of the best constructed and best for filtration.

It’s a wix filter, better quality than most for an affordable price, can’t go wrong.

There are a few great filters out there but I get Wix XP because I feel it not only a great filter but also a good value for what you get. My only gripe is that they are not always available (in stock, ready to ship) when I need them so I tend to keep an extra one around for both vehicles.

I've been using Wix filters (oil, fuel, air, passenger compartment, etc) for almost 40 years and I drive every car I own to at least the 200,000 mile range - and have NEVER had an internal engine related issue in ANY of the cars I've owned in that span (10 sports cars / sedans / trucks / SUVs) - still driving 4 of them daily). 40+ years ago, I would ONLY buy OEM filters (AC/Delco for GM & Motorcraft for Ford) for my cars. While working at a local "Parts Plus Autostore" Parts Store during college, we had a Wix filter Rep stop by. He bought from us an AC/Delco PF-35, Motorcraft FL-1A, and he had an equivalent Fram & Purolator filter to those filters (since we didn't sell those 2 brands but they were popular at quick change lube places and "discount" parts stores). He commenced to cut them all open right in front of us to remove the outer canister housing and expose the internals, and WOW!!! - what an AMAZING difference in quality on the inside!!! The Fram and Purolator were pure junk!!! VERY cheaply made, extremely poor quality manufacturing just looking at it, cardboard at the endcaps, just cheap junk I would NEVER use in one of my cars even if it was given to me for free! The AC/Delco and Motorcraft filters were of MUCH better quality than the Fram or Purolator, but it was apparent to anyone looking at them all side-by-side that the Wix filter was clearly made better than ANY of them. The feel of the canister, the high quality filter media inside, the number of pleats for increased filter surface area to trap contaminants / allow good flow as the filter ages and collects contaminants, the metal endcaps, the stout springs, the quality of rubber / gasket materials used, just every single component of the filter was hands down better across the board. From that day forward, I was sold on Wix filters and try to find a Wix for anything that takes a filter - especially Oil and fuel filters! The added bonus that is VERY important to me is that the oil filters I buy for my cars are all MADE IN THE USA!!!!! I've noticed that some of their air filters are Made in Mexico, which I'd prefer that they be Made in the USA, but the quality appears to still be as good, so as long as they don't go to China or other such markets for their manufacturing, I'll be a customer for life and continue telling everyone I can about how much better they are than anything else I've seen or used.Hey Amazon : My ONLY complaint is that when Amazon ships them, sometimes they ship the filters in a bag instead of a box that would help protect the filters from damage when the carrier is tossing them around loading their trucks and such. I usually order multiple at a time, so when they put them in a box, they are much better protected and less likely for me to have to return them to Amazon due to damage.
