Instructions for use on how to close the lid of the pot
- Press the button into position in the center of the button holder so that the left and right connectors and the clamp hook are moved out.
- Align the seal with the inside edge of the cover and press it down into position.
- Release the button, and you'll hear a "click," which means you've closed the lid.

I find that the pressure release valve doesn't allow the pan to build up any pressure. I have no idea whether I'm using it correctly because no instructions were included and my attempts to contact the company have come to nothing. Still, it's a nice saucepan.

Purchased for camping, Instant pot rice is 1 cup rice, 1 1/2 cup water, 10 min under pressure. rice is cooked. Tested this pot. No go, so much steam escaped rice burned. Because it has so little pressure and bleeds off steam during the cooking process, the steam and liquid in the pot does not penetrate or cook the food all. Not to mention you would have to add a lot off extra water to your recipe. This is not a perssure cooker. This is a pot with a tight lid and small vent. However it fantastically heats well and very even, the burnt rice all fellout upon turning the pot over. I think it will make a good non stick pot and fit smaller storage area do to removable handle.

I used the pressure cooker for the first time and It cooked very fast. I also love that I could see inside the pot because of the glass cover. This cooker is different from the old fashion pressure cooker and although it did not come with instructions you really don’t need one. I gave 4 stars because I do not like that you cannot take the cover apart to clean between the glass and the hardware. Other than that, I recommend the pressure cooker.

Its very solid. Surprisingly heavy because of the lid. EASY to lock and unlock. (I have no idea why others complain.) Its wide, sort of a pan/pot hybrid. So a perfect multitasker for camping. The handle fits in the pot. (Wrap it so it doesnt damage the nonstick coating when transporting.) Recommended.

As easy to use as a plain old saucepan and that's about what you get! It doesn't hold pressure and vents at near atmospheric. Temperatures and cook times are the same as any saucepan with a decent lid! It does have a fancy lid. Fortunately its too flimsy to hold pressure as it would blow up easily. The goofy "pressure relief valve" that would sucker you into thinking its a pressure cooker, is basically a hole in the lid. save your money if you want speedy cooking.

I did not did not expect this from a small size pot with such a short amount of time to make meat poultry seafood n veggies with in thirty minutes! All within thirty minutes even the carb! Rice grains legumes! It’s amazing
