I'm not sure that I would call this a wind chime, since it didn't make any pretty sounds for me. The butterflies seem to be made out of plastic. However, I charged them in the sun for about 2 hours and that was enough to watch them light up at night very beautifully. The colors transition very smoothly, and the light is bright enough to catch anyone's eye. Very fun to look at. It makes a nice decoration for a garden.
