These have withstood the elements for exactly 364 days now since I bought them. They have made it through the tornado we had, heavy rain, blazing sun, and the ice cold and still work like the day I bought them

I purchased several of these lights 2 years ago, when we bought our house. They are a beautiful touch in the night, when sitting on the porch listening to the tree frogs, crickets, and whatever else critters roam the area. I noticed about 2 months ago, one was not as bright as it used to be. I took it down and cleaned the solar side of bird poop and pollen. Didn't get any brighter. Then one day, it stopped working. I thought, man, now I'm going to have to throw it out. But for some reason. I held onto it. Last night, I decided to look inside of the unit. There are 3 little screws to undo. I unscrewed those 3 little screws and popped it apart. Low and behold, I see a green AA size battery, I thought Hey! I have some of those! I swapped it out, put it back together and turned it on. Oh my, it works AND its bright as day one, possibly even brighter!The AA battery inside was a NIMH 600mAh, I put a NIMH 2400mAh in place of it. If the 600mAh lasted close to 2 years, I'm curious to see how long this 2400mAh will last!I am SO happy that I didn't throw it away. I did however 2 more before I fixed this one. But that's okay, I can place these ones on my green house.LOVE THESE!

I have ordered several of these garden balls from various sellers in last few years because I really enjoy seeing them from the inside, in my large back yard. What I liked most about this set is FINALLY, correct understandable English in the directions, which also tell you that you can replace the battery (to a longer rechargeable one), once the lights fade, plus how to change the battery out. Initially when I 1st bought a set elsewhere, nor only was it poorly understood attempt of English, but there was nothing about a battery that is easily replaceable!! So I feel this is a great company telling people this and how to do it because the batteries that come with most, are short lasting, maybe 600mah. Whereas once they go out. You can replace with 2300mah, which can last a year or more before changing!! The only thing about the set I wish was improved, is that the bulbs are smaller than my original set, and I liked the others better since my yard is large. But...a beautiful inexpensive happy ornamental garden piece. (not for illuminating and area)

I love these color changing lights sooo much! They are easy to hang and enjoy in a matter of minutes. Don't forget to peel off the plastic on the solar panel and turn on underneath the dome under the panel. You will not be disappointed.
