Work amazing compared to all the last 3 cheap chrome ones I have bought that eventually fried 2 batteries from overcharging the system at 15-18volts

It failed on me, bringing my voltage to 18 volts at 30 months in a car that went 1000 miles with a new harness, alternator and battery. Replaced it with a made in USA one i had laying around, poof 13.8 volts. The price on this thing is absolute thievery.

Fitted this regulator due to high voltage 15+v Did not work at first. I had read where other users said the paint should be removed at the mounting holes to make a ground connection which is required to make it work. That was the reason for 3 stars. Did that and it worked. I still have higher than normal voltage which varies between 14.9 and 15.2 . From what I have read, this is a common problem with first gen Cummins Dodge trucks. Voltage is slightly lower with this regulator but I detect a flicker in the lights indicating it is un stable. This may not be a fault of the regulator in question. I have already previously replaced the alternator. Still working on it.

I needed a new voltage regulator my my 1973 Dart 340 Sport. Wanted a genuine MOPAR piece and this is it. Works as it should. And the gloss black color is nice, too. Just be sure to remove the paint on the back side around the mounting holes so the unit will ground to the firewall or you'll have problems.

This is a significant better regulator than the crap you get at the parts store. I was getting low voltage after installing a 240 amp alternator in my 98 Cummins. This is regulated by the pcm. Installed a parts store regulator with a relay and my voltage was 15. After installing this one from Mopar its now back down to 14.1. Highly recommended.

I had high/low voltage issues on my 1970 Charger with upgraded alternator. This unit cured the issue, and the voltage readings are rock steady. No fluctuations like the one it replaced.

I've gone through over 10 voltage regulators in the few years I've owned the truck. The problem is that all the parts store regulators are based off an old Dodge design which is lower amperage, like for a dodge valiant, and they are also made in China. The result is those chinese regulators blow within 2 days! I'm not even kidding you. Also, they fail closed circuit so your battery boils, Isn't life great sometimes!?However, this one is QUALITY, higher AMPERAGE, MADE IN USA. You can even feel the difference in WEIGHT between this model and the Chinese ones. This one will last guaranteed at least 6 months, much better than 1-2 days than the chinese CRAP.Dont waste your time with the Chinese crap. Buy this one. Buy this one. Don't cry at night. Don't wallow in your own tears when the others fail in 2 days. Trust me.
