It worked really well for my needs. The only thing I added was a bolt through the chain just after the hitch. This helped keep it tracking. Overall, I liked it a lot.

I got this grader to use to fix a small area in the yard. I got the 4 foot model. It works well behind my small riding mower. I might do the rest of the yard next season. It appears to be well built. I recommend this for anyone that has a small job to be done.

Works for the loose gravel we put on the drive and also on the dirt we spread. Add weight accordingly and it works great. We use this on a small kabota tractor overall pleased with it

I’ve been using a high dollar drag harrow for years to rake my gravel driveway. My driveway is two tenths of a mile long from the main road, so it takes some upkeep. We buy our own gravel and spread it as much as possible with a tractor. The drag harrow then smoothes the gravel from end to end on the driveway. Traffic and rain tends to push the gravel into the dirt, so we use the drag harrow to pull it back up to the surface. After using this 4 foot Montex HD drag harrow, I can safely say it does not perform as well as the more expensive ones I have owned. But that was expected. However, it does work pretty well, and certainly makes a difference on our roadbed. Depending on what your needs and expectations are, this drag harrow can be a very useful tool. I am concerned about how well it will hold up over time. It seems to be well made, but it’s going to take a beating being pulled behind my four wheeler. Time will tell!

Simple drag that works as long as you add a lot of weight. I am using it to grade a gravel drive and it does the job well. To use this behind a truck you will probably need a longer chain and maybe get 2 of these to run side by side. It works better then what I was using which was an old I beam.

I don't know if this is really for heavy duty work as it says, we'll see how it does in the long run. I have a gravel driveway, and the gravel gets built up in areas or thinner in others. I hooked this to a small riding mower and drove back and forth, with someone else using a big rake to move deeper areas. We did pretty well, and will continue to use it. Metal isn't super heavy, hope it stand up to the stones. Will definitely work on dirt if you are leveling for laying sod.

This Montex 4' drag/grader works great for leveling yards, but it is only for light-duty use on driveways.The main drag bars are made from thin wall square tubing. This design does a good job on lawns, but if it is used on stone driveways it would not take long for the stone abrasions to wear through the bottom wall of the tubing.2 of the inner cross braces are removable which allows for you to use different sizes of weights on top of the drag. Most people will use concrete blocks, but it is nice to have different weight options to make this drag more efficient using what you have on hand.There are 4 tie-down straps included that will help to secure top mounted weights using the cross brace slots.The included drag chain is strong enough for this 48" model.
