Needed to mount a QD mount to my 50 BMG barrel so I can attach a sling, ordered the 34mm and it fit perfectly flush. The included screws were also the perfect length.I have the Noreen ULR 50 BMG pistol, and it has a 16.5 inch barrel, with no sling points and it weighs 16 pounds, so you need one. Used this on the end of the barrel, and attached a regular sling mount on the included metal stock (drilled holes) and I can finally attach a sling. This mount is well made, and is solid. I used blue loctite to ensure it wouldn’t come loose, and with its perfectly flush fit it doesn’t move at all. This would be great for what it’s intended for, a scope mount, but for my case it worked perfectly well too.

I like Monstrum products. I have a few of their products, mostly rifle mounts. I never had a problem with any of them. They are always modestly priced. I've got a few of those red/green dot reflex sights manufactured by some unknown companies. They look like well crafted but I am not entirely sure they how fare with regard to a rifle shot stress, at least for some modest caliber cartridges. This ring provides a very good platform to test both the accuracy of a red dot sight, its ability to keep zero, and show if it can withstand the stress. Most reflex sights come with the Picatinny adapter, or you can get an inexpensive adapter plate for any footprint here on Amazon. After you mount a dot reflex sight on this scope ring it is the time for a filed test of this sight. I will update this review on the results. If you need to test a dot sight with the RMR footprint I would recommend a product by the same manufacturer which has a detachable canted RMR platform right on the front ring.

I have a Vortex 4000 range finder and data device. I use for hunting, this allows the device to be used on several different rifles for hunting with a quick transfer from one to the other.

I purchased this originally thinking I was going to add it to my mount, but I have a Monstrum cantilever mount with the holes for a mount and I used the rail and placed it directly on the LPVO mount

The MRDS mounts on the pic rail of the scope ring ok but can only use 2 screws with my Monstrum offset 34mm scope mount. Disappointed that both being Monstrum all 4 screws DO NOT line up with the scope mount
