Finally purchased a fire blanket for my kitchen after seeing them advertised. I got 2 blankets for the price which is a fair deal for the price. Installed it on the wall near my stove. It’s important to use a sturdy hook so the blanket doesn’t fly off the wall when grabbing for it in a fire situation. There are many fire blankets available and I hope the one I chose is good quality. I have no way to tell until I use it, which I hope I never do! I have confidence in this product. It does say fibreglass blanket on the front. I feel so much better with this in my kitchen, especially since my children like to cook. We do have an extinguisher but I don’t feel comfortable using that and it would make a big mess. It’s a good back-up to have, but the blanket will the first thing I grab if needed.

Although we have a fire extinguisher in our kitchen, i wanted a little more peace of mind. This 4 pack is perfect. I keep one in each room. I can't really speak to the quality of this specific product because I don't see value in "just trying them out" without a true fire emergency. I have used fire blankets in the past and they are very effective. I hope I never have to use these in my home.

From what we can tell, these blankets seem great. They come in an easy storage bag that has a hook for hanging. We've lightly tugged on the straps to see how easy it would be to open, and it seems decently easy. From what we can tell, the quality looks great. It's a little hard to rate these without having used them and hopefully that never changes!

Great price for a pack of 4. Supposed to put out fires over oven, small area while outside, also from fire on a car or a vehicle engine. Thank God have not had to use it yet.

I gave these to my family at Christmas and they all loved it. We have not had to use it yet but everyone feels safer.

Don't know how well they will work or if easy to use. But the instructions are clear and it does not take up much space.Have one in the kitchen and another for the garage.

These are a fantastic and much needed item for the preparedness of safety in your home. Hopefully it is NEVER needed, but if it IS, you will be thanking GOD you had it !!! I bought in bulk and gave them as Christmas presents to neighbors, family & friends !! Hang it properly so that you can just yank the strings and it will open and quickly be ready for you to cover any fire you need it for !! Stove top, space heater, etc.....

I never want to have to use these, however I am very grateful to have them in the home. Makes me feel more at ease that my grandkids would be able to use it compared to a fire extinguisher. We do have a fire extinguisher also though.

Have not had to use it thankfully, but feel good about having it near by. Also bought a set for my daughter and son in law too. They keep one by the grill and in the kitchen.Update: My husband just used it while he was torching wood for our deck ceiling. I had this and a fire extinguisher in the garage and he choose to use this because it was fast, simple, and didn’t make a mess. Later I folded it back in the pouch incase we need it again

This is the product to buy. I bought another cheeper product but glass fibres became embedded in my skin, causing pain. I returned it and bought this product instead because it had the best reviews. Sure enough, handling this product does not cause any problems - no glass fibres embedded in skin. Buy this one. Not the others.
