For babies when you want accuracy I would not recommend. There was a pound difference between this and the clinic scale in my newborn.

Love it! Been using this once a month for 5 years to weigh myself, and to track my two cats’ weights. I like that it holds the display of your weight after you step off. Has auto-shut off, so I haven’t needed to replace the original batteries. You do need decent balance if you’re weighing yourself, because it can be a little tippy if you don’t stand still in the middle. (Not an issue for me.) Has a sturdy box with a handle for easy storage and transport.

El producto esta genial, echo de menos que el peso se pare, para poder ser preciso, hay que tener al bebé quieto, si se pueve un poco fructua connun +- de 50 gr.

J'ai acheté cette balance à la naissance de mon fils. Elle est assez précise (deux chiffres après la virgule), facile à utiliser et plusieurs unités de mesure possible pour le poids.Le plateau pour bébé est gradué pour permettre de le mesurer. Et une fois que bébé a grandit, on peut s'en servir comme pèse personne classique.Je recommande

I am very pleased with the scale! I wanted it to keep track of my baby’s weight and breastfeeding milk transfer weight. It came with bonus features beyond my basic needs too!PROS:✅ Nice design, light weight, compact and easy to assemble. I didn’t even need to read the directions to figure it out.✅ Batteries are included! It takes 2 AAA✅ The part that you add to the scale to weigh the baby (the baby tray) has curved sides so that baby is less likely to fall off✅ The scale itself can be used to weigh Mommy up to 220 lbs. I also used it for my toddler! I didn’t own a scale before this one so it’s nice to have this feature.✅ Easy to to switch from lbs to ounces (or kg). It measures pounds up the the tenths place. Example: 11.3 lbs✅ It has a tare feature so you can add a blanket to the scale and zero out the weight before adding baby!✅ The baby tray has a ruler on it so you can measure the baby’s length. (I haven’t really used it though.) The baby holder can help keep baby in place if you wanted to use a cloth ruler.✅ The packaging is very nice and giftable. It has a carrying handle on top. The inner packaging protected the product during shipping and is mostly paper-based. Only a few thin plastic bags were used to prevent scuffing. It comes with directions and other product info from the company.✅ The baby scale can be packed up and stored back in the box easily without trying to cram it back inside in some random configuration you can’t figure out.✅ The brand itself seems nice withCONS:(These are minor and did not affect the number of stars I rated it but worth mentioning)⛔️ The scale must be placed on a solid surface like a hardwood or tile floor. It will not work on carpet. I tried it on the carpet and in order to keep the product light weight, it just won’t measure accurately when placed on fluffy carpet.⛔️ The instructions and other printed materials do not have good English. They’re mostly understandable but I see that as a minor negative for the brand itself in its presentation. Overall I like the brand but this is my critique.⛔️ I personally did not care to see a baby’s bare bottom on the packaging but that’s just me. I would have liked a diapered or otherwise clothed baby as the main photo featured. Again, this is minor and did not affect the number of stars I gave it.

I ordered this baby scale and am very pleased with the product. I have been weighing my baby on a kitchen scale (!) since her birth and ordered a scale when she has grown over 11lb limit of the kitchen scale. Here is how I concluded that the Mommed baby scale is accurate:1/ I have established that my kitchen scale is accurate because I would weigh my baby right before she goes to the pediatrician, and my kitchen scale has the same reading as the pediatrician’s scale consistently (3 separate times)2/ I weighed various random objects on both my kitchen scale and Mommed baby scale and they had almost exactly the same readings (except that my kitchen scale measure in 0.1oz increments and Maymom baby scale is in 0.5oz increments)3/ I weighed my baby before she ate, then gave her a 2oz bottle (so I know exactly how much milk is in there). Once she finished the bottle, I weighed her again and she gained 2oz.Other notes:A/ Given the baby scale is in 0.5 oz increments, this is not as accurate as those scales at the lactation consultants to measure how much milk baby takes at the breast, but it’s still a good indication and I’m happy with it for the price.B/The tray is removable which makes the scale versatile and everyone in the family can use it. The tray also has a ruler which I found thoughtful as I can measure my baby’s height.C/ The scale measures in kg/lb/oz. My only suggestion is show the weight in both lb and oz at the same time. For example, the current display would be either 10.7 lbs or 170.5 oz (1 decimal place), so to get to recording it in growth tracking apps (I use baby center), it would take some simple math to convert it to 10 lbs 10.5 oz. Not a big deal but just an extra step.Conclusion: I highly recommend this baby scale for the peace of mind to track your baby’s growth between well visits!P.S. The excellent customer service I received was worth mentioning. There was a somewhat large gap when I put the tray together and I asked Mommed if that’s normal, they responded AND sent me another scale within 24 hours of my inquiry. Customer service can’t get better than that!
