I bought this as a bedside lamp for my own bedroom, not for a nursery or child’s room. I really like the features that it offers, such as different light settings and sounds for white noise, etc. The first one that I received, connected to my Wi-Fi, but then fell off overnight and would not connect again. It also made noise when it was not turned on, so there was clearly something wrong with it. I returned it and ordered another. Received it yesterday, so it is too soon to tell if it will have the same malfunction. As I said previously, I really enjoy the different lighting options and the sounds and music. It also has a Bluetooth speaker which I haven’t used yet, so that will be a nice option. But the clock face does not dim enough for my tastes. I don’t like any bright lights in the bedroom while I’m trying to sleep, and it only seems to go down to floodlight luminosity.Staring at the Sun, Sally

I already knew I was a fan of Momcozy products, having ordered a Sunrise Echo white noise machine last year to put in our family cabin. When it came time to replace an aging bedside clock at our house, I considered ordering another Sunrise Echo model, but then saw this DreamSync Sound Machine. It has improved the experience of the previous Echo model in a couple of important ways for me. Firstly, the DreamSync is a much better shape for me in that it has a wider footprint and isn’t as easily knocked over. I found the Sunrise Echo a bit more top heavy and easier to knock around when I was fumbling to change a setting. I also appreciate the ability to make adjustments to the sound and lighting settings with the app. I think that’s been the most helpful overall because I can customize from my phone what I want for my sleep environment that night, all before I head back to the bedroom. It’s a lot more convenient than trying to recall what the myriad buttons are on the top of the device itself. Yes, I know there are only 8 buttons, but when I’m really tired and ready to get to sleep, that’s about seven buttons too many I haven’t had a need to purchase a nursery or baby gift yet, but if I did, I would seriously consider this DreamSync Sound Machine for them. The ability for a new parent to adjust the settings without disturbing the sleeping baby or toddler would be awesome.

It wasn’t my favorite, I found it very annoying that you can’t turn it on or off from the device itself like you can with a Hatch. The sound quality was decent, and holy crap is it BRIGHT when fully turned up. Some of the sounds were labeled incorrectly and overall just didn’t sound great. I’m returning and will be buying another Hatch.

My daughter was having a really hard time falling asleep. She was afraid of the dark but now she wakes up saying she has dreams about rainbows and fairies.LOVE that it is an all in one. Sound machine, Bluetooth speaker and night light. My daughter loves rocking out to music in her room now. Just wish they made one in a shape for my son.The app makes it easy to control however the on and off feature is a little confusing. You aren’t able to do it manually only through the app.

My wife likes having white noise when she sleeps, and we have used at least 5-7 of these devices over the past 20+ years, and have tried a few others. This may be the best one we have ever used - it’s got all of the things that we like, and very few annoyances or drawbacks.The basics: it’s got a large enough speaker(s) that the sound isn’t tinny, it’s nice and full, and the volume is louder than you will ever need. There are 34 different sounds - there should be several that are pleasing to you or your child. It has about every combination of lights, colors, and effects that you could think of, and you can adjust the brightness (or just keep it off). You can use it as a Bluetooth speaker, it’s easy to pair and sounds reasonable. Has a clock with an alarm clock, that is also very simple to set up and adjust.Although the app is well laid out and controls everything you could possibly want to adjust, one of the things I am happiest about with this product is that it has buttons. There seems to be a trend over the past 5-10 years in electronic appliances to put more and more things in apps and have less buttons. For sound machines, although it’s nice having an app to control everything, almost always you are going to turn it on and off with buttons (especially in the middle of the night). This product allows you to not only turn it on and off but also adjust the volume, light brightness, sound choices, and the alarm. You can set several “favorite” settings for sounds and lighting settings that you can turn on with the main button on top.It’s currently priced at $79.99 with a $10 coupon, which, to me, is a little expensive. But I think everything is expensive and you can do your own pricing of this and comparable productsOverall, this is the best, most versatile sound machine I have ever used. Highest Recommendation!
