  • set traps on straight, active tunnels against edges like a house for best results.

  • Spring trapping prevents more moles, summers and winters are tougher for trapping.

  • Mole traps can be used for both voles and gophers because all three of these pests tunnel under the lawn. However, repellents and pesticides may differ in effectiveness based on the three kinds of rodents’ various lifestyles and diets.

  • Moles are most active in the early morning and evening, especially during the spring and autumn seasons.

2 days in and I've already caught my mole. Can't ask for it to do anything more than that. The traps are pretty easy to set and it worked the first time it was triggered. So I'd say that's a five-star product.

Wow! Less than 1 hour killed a mole. The video was very helpful. I also watched some YouTube videos on determining which tunnels to set up the trap. Traps are easy to set up and engage. And they don’t mess around when they launch.

A+ product. I’ve been chasing these yard wreckers for years! Don’t waste your time with anything else. Do you want your moles gone? Buy these traps. Easy to set AND release. These claws of death are the equalizer. My yard has never looked better! Highly recommend!!!

I've had a serious mole problem in my yard for the past several months. I've tried numerous methods to get rid of them, but nothing worked so I was a little skeptical of these traps. After watching the instructional video on how to use them, I set them up in my yard. The first was easy to set, but when I tried to set the 2nd,it kept tripping. After 2-3 times, I finally got it to stay armed. When I checked on them the next morning, I noticed that the same one had tripped again, but when I pulled it up to reset it, there was a dead mole in it. Hallelujah!I've caught 2 moles in the first 24 hours of using these, and if there are more, I'm fully confident that these traps will get them all. If you have a mole problem, I highly recommend these traps.

Seems well made but so far this is just sitting there. Looks like the mole went right up to it and then right around it. Not sure if I will catch anything with this and I have to keep it covered up with a bucket so the dogs don't get into it.

These traps are effective. Got my mole quickly and effectively. However, it was all I could do to get them set, and then it was nearly impossible for me to get the trap to release the dead mole.

Had a rather sudden mole infestation in my 2 acres of lawn. Had the spike plunger trap, still haven't caught one with it. These were expensive but had to try something new. Ended up buying 6 of these traps, 2 of a different brand scissor trap, a gopher hawk, and a 16-pack of those spring wire traps. It's all about placement. Been moving them around every 24 hours between different runs for the last few weeks and have caught 16 with these scissor traps. Have had about 12 go off without catching one, but that's part of physics. How soft the ground is has an impact. They say to set it while it's in the ground, but I've been setting them above ground then placing them to minimize the soil disturbance. Makes it more likely that dirt/grass blocks it from closing all the way, but when I set them in ground the moles seem to be suspicious of how much dirt has moved.Pros:Easy to setWorks the bestNo bloodEasy to see when it's been set offCons:ExpensiveThe gopher hawk should work too, but I havent found the right place for it yet I guess (using it for main tunnels too deep for the scissor traps to work effectively). The spring wire traps are janky and kinda sketchy, no luck with them yet. The other brand scissor trap works and were only $15 a piece, but they're a little more finicky to set sometimes and the flags that came with them were terrible. If these were $13 a piece instead of $20, I'd buy 10 more. Really like them. Best option available, but having these plus the gopher hawks is probably the best so you have something for any type/depth of tunnel. The only worry I have is how long the springs will last with how much I use them, but so far so good. Great product. It's the only trap I can recommend based on my experience.
