1. When first installed, it require up to 2 days of the sunlight to be fully effective.
2.Insert mole repellent stakes into ground,make sure the top is above to the surface roughly 2 inches
3. Position the mole repellent solar powered where it gets full sun on the panel to recharge the unit
4. The mole repellent need be used continuously for 7-14 days before ground rodents start to move away from the area
5. The harder/denser the soil, the better it works, as the sonic vibrations do not travel well through loamy soil conditions

This is my second order. Seems to help with gophers. Don't know about other pests. Only negative being the solar cell is covered by a clear plastic shield which, due to the sun, will fog over after a time. When that happens the battery cannot charge and it will stop working. The cover cannot be removed so what I do is to whack the edge with a hammer to break the cover off. If you are lucky it will expose the solar cell without damaging it. It can then charge again and maybe will start working. The drawback is that rain or watering lets moisture get inside. I guess you could cover it with plastic wrap or something. Maybe headlight cleaner would work. Anyway it works for me since I receive very little rain and a lot of sun. If this fix is too much trouble Amazon will be happy to sell you more. I have tried other brands but so far all have the same problem.

Works great . We got these mainly to keep the dogs from digging holes all over searching for the underground critters. We didn’t want to put a poison out that might harm our dogs. So these were a perfect fit. We move them around as we see the need.

I purchased these to relieve my yard of gophers, and it works! It’s been about 9 weeks and we have not had any gophers or new gopher tunnels. The stakes easily go into the ground, and can be removed easily for mowing. The emit a high pitched sound that is audible from outside but not inside. Very happy to have found something to save the yard and new plants from more gopher destruction! Great product!

Easy to use, high quality device. Pre-charged the solar batteries for 2 days prior to use and they worked flawlessly. We even had 11 inches of snow, which buried the repellents under 8 inches of snow and they were still working under the snow!! I have noticed a decline in the number of mole tunnels in the ares where I placed the devices. But it is too early to realize significant improvement.

Was pretty skeptical that it would work but on the advice of a family member ordered the 8ct. Pretty simple drilled holes and placed them in a row. Worked the sensors from one side of the yard slowly moving them to the other. So far works great no new gopher holes in the area where I started off with the sensors

We have 1 1/2 acres and the moles would love to live here with us...unfortunately, kicking them out has proved tricky. We have used the poison pellets successfully, but didn't want to go broke with new moles moving in. So we have tried this for 3-4 months. The new mounds have slowed down a lot. We probably should buy one more set of these to fully cover our space.

Just got these delivered yesterday and put one in the ground this morning. We have an issue with mice getting into our green house and eating our plants. Have tried traditional traps, which work but as a PITA to maintain. Thought we'd try the humane way to get rid of the pesky borrowing mice. At this point too early to tell if they work. But the build appears to be good, and it turned on

To begin, the packaging was effective in that the units arrived undamaged. The directions were clear and concise and make sure you dig a whole and do not try to force them into hard ground. All 8 of the units work and immediately started to send out an audible sound so you know they are operational. I had 3 sets of critters burrowing around and the devices drove them away. I believe I had a combination of voles and moles and they are gone. I’m going to purchase more in the early spring to deter the copperheads from around the house.
