Recently purchased a home and used this kit myself. It was really helpful. Easy to use with clear instructions which was nice. I wasnât sure how it would be but super easy and gave good results. It helped me figure out my next steps with room I had some concerns about. Very much appreciated being able to do this myself before sinking lots of money into someone else doing it first.

It's a nice full kit to check out mold in your house. It's very informative and simple to use. As a means to get a rough amateur idea of mold, it works well. I don't know how well the lab test is, but it has everything you'd need to easily send in your sample to get professionally tested. The only reason I gave this 4 stars instead of 5 is due to the fact that the lab fees aren't stated on this product page. I understand that the fees my vary over time, but there could be an approx price listed or establish the lab's info so one could look it up first. That all said, it's still a good product.

Square peg, round hole problem. It says to put the petri dish in the sample bag, but the bag is too small (see pics). Be aware that you have to pay $30 per sample you send in for lab analysis! It gives you some images to compare if accuracy doesn't matter. The one test only comes with 1 petri dish and a couple of swabs that must be mailed off to get results.
