I luv the option to have a separate dock. I'm ordering 1 more. Easy to install and stays put. I have seen reviews saying they were horrible and don't stay, but for me no problems at all.

Our glazed tile was slightly textured with a wavy surface. Even when scrubbed with >70% alcohol, it only stuck on a few weeks without the weight of any spray head in an unused shower. I removed and replaced the items adhesive with branded 3M US made product, and it still falls off. The magnet does help to retain the shower nozzle on the mounting surface. You might have better luck.

This works well but you have to be sure where you stick it is where you want it. The 3m tape on it is strong and if you need to remove it good luck.

I purchased this to replace one I had put up two years ago that was losing adhesion. I attributed the lose of adhesion to be due, at least in part, to my hasty prep work. This time I took more care to prep the mounting area and I expect to get a longer service this time.This item can be installed using the included 3M adhesive or by using the included mounting hardware. I didn't want to put screw holes in my shower wall for something I may want to take down later so I went with the adhesive method. The quality of the bracket is good. The previous bracket had held up fine and looked new after two years other than the aforementioned adhesion issue. Good product, holds the sprayer head great.

I have the Moen magnetix handheld shower wand and bought the dock as an added convenience. When a hair wash is not part of my quick daily shower, the dock, secured at a lower level, is the perfect place to rest the showerhead without turning the water off to avoid getting my hair wet. We have had to re-secure the dock using gorilla tape as over time, it became loose. Not an issue though, the tape works well to secure the dock back onto the molded shower wall. The magnetic dock is strong and the original tape did not last more than a year but the gorilla tape works great.

Is the magnet reversible? It currently repels the magnet in my Moen (I believe) wand. Am I going to need to open the base and reverse it? Can I do this without breaking it? I didn't see instructions on how to do this but it seems easy enough. Other than that, it seems like it will do the job. Stay tuned.Solved: easy-peasy: just pop-off the ring in front with a small screw driver or knife blade, unscrew the four bolts that hold the magnet cover, then remove and reverse the magnet from the magnet cover while not loosing the washer that was under the magnet, re-assemble, and you are done. I know that the adhesive will not last so gluing or bolting will be needed. At this time, since I am adhering to marble, I will try the adhesive first to see how long it lasts, then go to glue after it falls off, which I fully expect it to do and that's why I am giving 4 instead of 5 stars. I absolutely love That I can place The hand shower at whatever location I like. I did clean the surface as instructed but it did not seem to stick well. I had drill holes from a previous hand bar so used a couple screws to secure. It is great getting a body shower at the same time as regular shower when I divert the water to both. I may purchase another one to position hand shower at the side of tub for easy access if taking a bath. Highly recommend!
