First ordered "brand name" fitting for this, which was plastic with a chrome sleeve. Ordered this part based on the description. Very satisfied with the quality. It is solid metal, heavy and very good looking. Don't be turned off by the inexpensive price. Nothing but praise for this. Comes packaged in tiny cloth bags, which are overkill, but perfectly protect the piece during shipping.

Though attractive and solid overall, the bracket does not fit nor securely hold a standard hand shower cone.

This wall supply/shower head bracket is well built and easy the install. The price is a little higher than what I want to pay but I chose it because of the simple design which makes it easier to clean.

This is a high quality solid plumbing fixture. I was skeptical, but it is indeed well worth the price. It is solid metal everywhere, even the escutcheon. I have paired it with Grohe trim, and i can say that it is as good or better quality than any of the Grohe fixture trims that I am currently installing in my new bathroom.

What more can you ask for? It has a standard 1/2 NPT female inlet. You're going to use a 1/2" gal nipple from the drop elbow to this fixture anyway. Looks great. I paired with a hammer head shower wand. Save the cash and go with this and an off brand wand to look high end.
