I was hesitant about this item due to other reviews saying it was plastic but I bought it anyway since the one I had was malfunctioning. Well it is plastic and coated to mimic the metal one. It fit perfectly. The fact that it is plastic is actually better since now as it is not as heavy it retracts easier and its not hanging.If you are looking for something like this.. just get this one.

No where close to original from Moen. This is a highly expensive plastic faucet head, does what is needed. Due to Moen’s threading/size of head fittings, you have no option but to pay for this expensive plastic. Keeping fingers crossed to see how long it lasts.

I was surprised to see that the wand kit was plastic, but Moen no longer makes the metal version. I contacted Plumbers Stock to discuss the situation and found their customer service to be excellent. I recommend this company, even though I am not totally satisfied with the product.

Replacement part worked perfectly, and was easy to install. Happy to have functioning spray unit once more without having to buy the whole faucet again!

Like other posters, i apparently have an older version of the 7509ORB faucet. This is a cheap plastic version of the original wand and does not fit on the original hose fitting. Moen support is pretty fun. I'm 45 minutes in on a 1.5 hour hold time (estimated). I tried scheduling a callback, but apparently I would have to wait a week to get a timeslot. Look at the top of the picture... it has a black threaded connection. If your wand has a white threaded connection (inset into the wand) then you will need an adapter to make this part work. Black to black, you should be fine.
