Es una gran opción para poder viajar en carretera con mas tranquilidad, ya que en caso de una ponchadura la única opción que Tesla ofrece es una bomba de aire o bien rodar la llanta ponchada lo cual puede ser riesgoso, la llanta viene en una maleta que estorba poco en la cajuela del modelo Y, y trae todo la herramienta necesaria para cambiar la llanta.

It is a great spare wheel if your vehicle did not come with one or you need a new one. The quality of the wheel (tire and rim) is great. The only thing is I wish that the spare came with the storage bag when buying just the wheel without the tools. The bag by itself is about $60 on their website and that is a bit steep.

Just received my Modern Spare tire. It seems high-quality, including the carrying case. It’s pretty large and occupies quite a bit of room in the model Y trunk. Haven’t had an opportunity to use it yet, but it already gives me peace of mind. Will be carrying only on long trips in remote areas without cell service.

Esta llanta de refacción me gustó mucho, por su diseño/tamaño/peso, ahora estoy mas tranquilo viajando por carretera en mi Tesla model YProducto muy recomendable y de uso obligatorio su haces viajes por carretera, la diferencia de tener o no tener refaccion en tu auto te puede arruinar el viaje.

Recently had a blowout and no roadside service. Tow charge, new tire, ugh. If I bought the Modern Spare two years ago it would have already paid for itself. It is a great product. I got this for my Tesla model Y, I customized my model Y trunk space so this will fit flush in the lower trunk. Highly recommend buying kit with lug wrench, jack, and carrying bag. It is an awesome setup.

A nice option on road trips where you are on that long stretch of road in the middle of nowhere and it would take someone an hour to get there. Well thought out, great look, and well built. Hopefully I will never need it but it's nice to know I have it just in case.

I purchased this spare for my Tesla model Y to take on road trips, so I wouldn't get stuck in the middle of nowhere waiting for a Tesla repair vehicle to show up. I had a flat tire once and Tesla service tow truck took 1:40 minutes to come. At least this spare tire can help me reach to a safe location. The quality is very good and it fits well on my 2023 Tesla Model Y. I tested it and works great and no error messages on the console screen. Would recommend.

I purchased this spare for my Tesla to take on road trips, so I wouldn't get stuck in the middle of nowhere waiting for a Tesla repair vehicle to show up, or use the "goop" repair kit, which is a very temporary fix. I ended up using it two days later at home! I picked up a drywall screw which was sticking out of my tire. I removed the screw at home, and the tire went flat. I decided it would be a perfect trial before going on a road trip, so I unpacked the spare. This kit comes with a jack (which has a rubber pad, so you don't need the Tesla jack pads), lug wrench, and carry case. The jack fit easily under the low jack point. The jack worked well, and I was able to change the tire relatively easily. It is worth noting that there are 2 different-sized lug holes! The larger wrench will not fit into the smaller holes! I was confused at first, but after taking the spare off and rotating it, it fit perfectly. I was able to take the spare to a tire shop. It was a good thing I already had it off the car, because the shop was very busy, so I was able to drop it off and run some errands while I was waiting. The spare comes with a plastic bag to place the flat into so you don't get your car dirty. I would recommend also carrying some disposable gloves, cleaning rag, and coveralls in case you end up changing it on the road. I will definitely be taking this spare tire on road trips and will feel confident that I am prepared!
