The egg poaching pan is well designed and sturdy. It is heavyweight and conducts heat evenly. The lid and inside tray and egg cups fit well and are easy to use. I use large eggs and they fit in the cups. Cook times vary according to how you like your eggs cooked. I also like the handle and lid. This is a very functional pan and a good purchase foe me.

The item is very handy. Remember to use a touch of PAM or similar to egg cups before adding eggs to poach. It makes getting the egg out and cleaning the cup much easier!

I have been looking for a way to poach eggs without needing to purchase another appliance or set up. There are similar ones that came with a pot or pan and I did not want to have to store one more thing in my already crowded kitchen cabinets. Saw this as a suggestion on during my search and decided to try this one. It is small enough to fit my already existing 4 quart pot. Eggs came out just right- the way I wanted eggs cooked. Cook time took a few short minutes and eggs popped right out. Even though it’s non stick, I still rubbed a bit of margarine in each cup. I plan to use this a few times a week as a healthier option after surgery. Great product!

Works great. Makes poaching much easier than my old one.Eggs cook well, and slip right out of the cups. The pan spots, but I think it's the minerals in our well water.

Very durable, easy to clean, follow instructions and eggs are perfect. We use 2 cups of water in a 2qt kettle.Place filled device into boiling water and cover pot. Set timer to 4 1/2 to 5 min for a runny yolk. Enjoy

The Good: I like the two egg size, perfect for one person or smaller family. The egg cups are very user friendly and can be removed by bare hand, they are very easy to clean. The Bad: While the lid’s stainless steel knob looks nice it gets too hot to remove the lid without a hot pad. The pan handle even though it has I guess what is to be insulating material still gets very warm, you really should be careful when working with it immediately after use. Be aware the pan and insert that holds the egg cups being stainless will require maintenance to keep it looking nice.Final Result: The bad is not enough to make this a returnable issue, but with a few improvements it could be perfect.

I am extremely pleased with this egg poacher, best one I have owned to date and I very much doubt I will ever need any other. It’s extremely robust and definitely worth the delivery wait. Highly recommend.

It is perfect, makes great poached eggs: cooked to an exact doneness, with no mess. Do not need to oil …the eggs slips out of the holder with ease. Cleanup is so easy too.

Finally, a pan that lets me make perfect poached eggs! I love this pan but I gave it a 4 rating instead of 5 because it does have some negatives I think people need to know. First, it's easy to clean BUT you will definitely be scraping egg whites off every time you use it because it's just about impossible to break an egg into it without dripping. Second, it's easy to use BUT the hole openings for each egg cup allow steam to escape so it's very easy to burn your hands/fingers. Third, the pull-out egg cup holder makes it easy to use BUT it has extremely sharp edges, both around the entire thing and also around the egg cup holes so, if you're not careful while you're using it or washing it, you'll cut yourself. Now for the positives: First, as long as you oil the egg cups (olive oil seems to work best), removal of your poached eggs is a snap. Second, once you learn the correct timing for reaching what you believe is the perfect doneness, you will make perfect poached eggs. Every. Single. Time. I make poached eggs for breakfast every morning and, now that I've figured out how to use this pan, my eggs are cooked exactly the way I like them. Every. Single. Time. Lastly, it takes much less time than any other way of making poached eggs I know. So, despite its flaws, I highly recommend this pan!

Since I got egg laying hens, me and my family are eating a lot more eggs. I read that poached eggs are healthier than eggs cooked in the frying pan. I remember about 20 years ago, we had a egg poaching frying pan. It was made out of aluminum and there were no non stick coating in the receptacles. That thing was a pain to clean. This new stainless steel egg poacher is a real dream. The receptacles already have a non stick coating. You just put a light coat of oil inside a cook your eggs. Two minutes to have the white well cooked and the yolk nice and runny. The eggs literally pop out of the receptacle by themselves. The cleaning is a breeze. The pan itself is of a good quality with the bottom thicker so it will distribute the heat evenly. The glass lid allows you to see the cooking in progress. Very good product.
