I bought this set twice. :) the 18 gauge copper wire seems maybe half hard(?) Im still new at this and have only bought a few different spools of copper, but this one is my go to. It also come with a set of round nosed/wire cutter pliers which come in quite handy. The wire bends and curves nicely and holds its shape, has a nice bright color. Will buy again. :)

This past month I got some copper wire from this brand and some silver coloured. The tools that came with each were an awesome bonus! The quality of the wire is nice for making jewelry. The only thing I really have a complaint about is that the colour isn't silver perse but more of a steel colour. Still very nice and shiny, however when I compare to my other silver coloured wires (as pictured )there is a clear difference so I'm not sure just yet how that will look in jewelry. You live and you learn. All in all though, I am very happy with my purchases from this company and will definitely be ordering the copper again.

I like this wire quite a bit so far. My new pendant (see photo) took me moments to make and I was very impressed with the way the wire held those curves. It was definitely half-hard, so may be a bit tricky for a new person but with a little bit of practice, they should master turns fairly quickly.Also, the shine is pretty and is what I was worried about: real silver color has an almost white sheen to it but stainless steel does not. I was afraid this wire would look too much like stainless steel but all in all, I think it will pass at quick glance for being "silver in color".It was fairly easy to cut with my good flush cutters but the tool you supplied is not one I would recommend with which to cut this wire. It works pretty well on 22 or higher gauge wire but 18 gauge, not so much. That's ok - I can always use another pair of needle nose pliers for my students!I would have given it 5 stars but I've only had this product for a few hours and only made a couple of things (one pendant, one ear cuff). As I said, so far, so good! Would I buy it again? Yes, very good for my teaching purposes, and when students are ready to handle a more expensive wire, I feel they will graduate to it fairly easily. Meanwhile they will have beautiful pieces of wire jewlery to wear or use as gifts.

This wire is extremely easy to work with, yet strong enough for jewelry. Finished products look clean and classy. The pliers are better than the ones I was previously using and have become my 'go to' pliers. Highly recommend and would absolutely purchase again!! There is a protective coating on the wire, which I only noticed when trying to twist it, otherwise it is unnoticeable.
