I followed directions and placed these caps in a maple tree that always seems to turn a bit yellow in the summer. We've had rain mutable times a week all spring long, so the tree isn't out of ground water, and all other trees are doing well but this one still changed to a yellow shade even with these Medicaps. Cant say they made any difference for my maple tree.

We had 2 arborists tell us that our maples were low on manganese and that they could do a treatment that would hopefully save the trees - for $150 per tree. I found this on Amazon and ordered. In the spring we implanted 7 into the tree that was in more distress, and the other tree got 3. The tree that got 7 implants had a fantastic summer. It was no longer yellow with droopy leaves. The leaves lasted well into the fall, when before it dropped leaves at the first hint of fall. The tree that only got 3 implants did better, but still looked a little sad. I'm buying another pack of 10 implants and will put 5 into the second tree and save the others for a booster in another year. This product saved the trees! They are easy to drill into the trunk, simple instructions and very effective.
