If the nipple is recessed then our Straight Line Capper would work for you. Will not work on cylinders that wrap slightly around the nipple--see photos. It's simple to operate, even while wearing gloves. It measures 3 1/16" x 2" x 13/32". For loading instructions to to www.youtube.com and type in TDCMFG. Please see our Amazon store for more fine TDC products. Also, please note that we carry a leather sheath for the Universal Capper.

Works really well. Hardest part is loading all caps the same way but after that, you're all good for a while. Happy i got this, it saves my fingers

I love this thing, it holds the percussion caps securely and the spring mechanism in it feeds one at a time as it should. The only complaint I have is that the tip doesn't fit well enough to apply the caps to the nipple on my Pietta .36 Navy, but that is why god made tweezers LOL Great quality, shipped fast and was well packaged!

I don't know what I'm doing wrong, but I find the "straight" cappers to be royal pains in the arse and I'd rather cap one at a time with my fingers. As a last ditch attempt I bought this guy. I didn't expect it to be any better than the others but at least I'd be able to say that I tried. Turns out, it works great! No complaints. Would recommend.

This product listing is confusing. One pic shows two, the other shows four. You only get one. It seems like a pretty good deal until you open the package and you only get one for $40. I do like it. It's much better than the straight line one I bought where the caps fall out. I'm not sure it is worth $40, but the caps don't fall out and it holds 100 at a time.

The instructions say fill with caps then gently shake and caps will turn upright with hole exposed. I guess I'm not that lucky lol but no big deal to flip some caps that didn't land upright. I love it, I am nutz about brass anyway. I do recommend this it will work on revolvers or rifles that use #10 or #11 caps.Don't shoot your eye out kid.Merry Christmas!

I purcased this because it was recommended by Dustin Winegar (Guns of the west) on Youtube. It is a very good quality product and works very well. To prevent caps from falling out of the tip of the capper, rest it against the loading cutout on the revolver when pressing the plunger. Dropped caps and a sore thumb from loading by hand are a thing of the past.Just like the other review, I did notice that it does not really work on the Uberti Walker. The capper only works on revolvers that have a deeper loading cutout in the recoil shield. My smaller framed Uberti 1861 navy, for example, actually has a deep enough cutout milled into the shield that allows the capper to work flawlessly.Overall a very good product and I am happy with my purchase.

It's alright, but I didn't realize it won't work at all with a Pietta 1858 Army Remington style revolver.
