The percolator is sturdy and looks nice on my stovetop. It brews a great cup of coffee and I like the fact that it will last a long time. No electronics to fail.

I’ve always wanted a percolator and I’ve been looking for the perfect one for about six months. I decided on this model due to the reviews and I also like the optional copper color. It makes fantastic coffee. I would say that the directions that come with it are slightly incorrect. I have found from making coffee in it that it works better to let the coffee percolate for about 2 1/2 minutes once it starts coming up through the clear knob, remove from heat and wait another three minutes and then your coffee is ready.

I've had this percolator for a week now. I like it, but it could be improved, though maybe at a higher price point.I use it on a gas range. The one I have is electroplated copper-colored (I think it's electroplating, but not sure), and its copper plating on the bottom is already flaking off a bit. Not a big area, but still ... Kind of disappointing, but, again, price point issue. Also, the percolator top, knob, globe, or whatever you want to call it, is plastic, not glass. I was hoping for glass. The handle is plastic, too. It does remain relatively cool to the touch immediately after perking. It's not cool, per se, but it's not hot and can be comfortably handled without gloves. It works very well. It makes good coffee. The coffee basket that holds the grounds takes a while to drain back into the pot after perking. I percolate the coffee for eight minutes then wait at least another five minutes for the coffee in the basket to drain back into the pot. Even then there's still liquid coffee sloshing around in the grounds, but it's not a lot.The holes are really slots that are punched into the metal basket. It's their design that makes the draining slow, but what the design also does is prevent bits of grounds from making their way into the coffee pot, and it's very good at that. There's very little sediment at the bottom of the pot, and that's what slows down the draining. Fair tradeoff. However, the way the slots are punched in the metal makes cleaning the basket and its top a bit trickier. I like to use a brush, but the slots catch and tear the bristles.Still, I like the pot. It's a good deal at the price. It does what it's supposed to do, and that's to make great coffee.

It says in the online details and description:“Perfect Accessory: Our perculator pot has a removable coffee filter, filter basket, pump tube, and easy-pour spout. Traditional design to provide elegant hot coffee anytime without a spill. Dishwasher safe!!”Yet in the Clean and Care Instructions, clause 3 it says:“3. Wash by hand and can dry by soft cloth. This product is not suitable for dishwasher, microwave or oven”.

So a few things:(1) I'm trying to get away from plastics and aluminum in my food,(2) I'm a coffee fanatic and am mastering different ways to make perfect coffee, and(3) I just bought an induction range, a cooking breakthrough! Water boils twice as fast as any other method IF your cookware supports it!So I had been mastering the art of percolated coffee (rather difficult without burning the coffee!) and wanted an induction percolator that was all steel. I found this guy - it's beautiful, stunning even. It supports an honest 4x large coffee mugs worth (it says up to 10 on the side), two each for me and the missus.- Great handle design! Plenty of distance and strength from the hot surfaces.- Ingenious internal design that allows pouring a clean cup without grounds (in my practice percolator I literally had to pull out the coffee grounds mechanism before pouring);- Cute little resin cap to watch the percolation in action! Not needed but fun 😊With the press sealed lid, it actually stays hot in the percolator for 15+ minutes (although on an induction top, it's trivial to fire it up and warm everything in 45 seconds, as fast as a microwave)Really terrific little percolator - good looking, functional and super easy to clean; you can be sipping your 3rd cup while the poor Frenchman are still dismantling and regrouting their press pots!Highly recommended, particularly for induction cooktops.

I'm old school when it comes to my coffee. I like nothing better than a quality percolator to make my coffee as robust as I like it. This coffee pot makes great coffee in short order. I also use it like one would use a tea kettle as well since I have it on my sailboat. I have only used it with a propane/ butane stove so cannot speak to its suitability on an induction type, glass top stove. I really like it for the boat though. A great product - gets five stars from me!

I really wanted to give this percolator a 5-star rating. It's esthetically beautiful and makes a good cup of coffee. The percolator is stable and doesn't wobble on my stovetop (another reviewer posted a video of it wobbling all over the burner while percolating). The pot is large enough to accommodate several cups of coffee, so I only need to make one full pot in the morning. The ONLY reason I dropped this to a 4-star rating is because I have owned this percolator for less than 2 months, and the enamel has eroded on the bottom of the pot. I realize this is the part on the burner (I brew my coffee on medium heat), but I expected the manufacturer would also take that into consideration and would use a higher quality high-temp coating so this wouldn't happen. This is not a deal breaker and I'd probably purchase this again, but it is a great disappointment.

The stainless steel is not very thick and seems quite flimsy. It is a percolator so takes ages to boil and percolate the coffee to a decent strength. Very good if you need several cups/mugs of coffee all at the same time. You would need to cover it with a cosy if you wanted to keep the coffee warm after percolation as the metal is too thin to keep warmth in. I like the glass knob so that you can see when the coffee has reached the desired strength. It has a close fitting lid and the handle seems robust. It looks good and percolates well.
