Dropped right into a Tanglewood dreadnought. Had to sand the pins and saddle a bit, but was easy. Made a cheap guitar that already sounded decent, even better. I'm glad I got these.

I have a lot of guitars and have used a lot of bridge pins made of different materials, from wood to brass. Theoretically, harder materials for nut, saddle and bridge pins improve guitar sound. In my experience, it depends on the guitar and a number of other factors. But I figure it can't hurt. And bone is one of the hardest materials. This little set includes six bridge pins, that are pretty universal in size and shape and therefore easy to replace on just about any guitar. Nuts and saddles aren't as easy to replace and vary in size by guitar, so having spare ones without a particular use in mind isn't particularly helpful. I do like the cute little guitar-shaped pin puller, which is actually nicely designed and handy not just for replacing pins but also for changing strings.

The bone saddle and bridge pins really improved the tone, volume and sustain of my 1993 Korea Aria acoustic guitar. I’m ordering the same items again for another acoustic I have. I did have to sand the saddle to fit the slot in my bridge and to adjust string height.

I had purchased from this company before, getting the bone nut and saddle with the ebony bridge pins for one of my guitars. I ordered these ones and they must have been from a different supplier or batch because the bone nut and saddle had a very different feel and measurements compared to my previous order. The bone bridge pins required alot of sanding (not unexpected), but 2 of them snapped/shattered while restringing.
