These are the wonderful combination of precision craftsmanship and beautiful esthetics. They add a luxury visual to ones instrument at a very modest price. They fit perfectly on my bridge, and seem to hold the strings better, making changing my strings an easier task. The one attribute that should be considered is that they do make your guitar sound brighter. For some this will be a benefit, but might not be to everyone's taste.

I was in the market to get some new bridge pins since my old ones were ABS plastic and scratched all up from restringings.These look gorgeous on my guitar and won't get all marred from changing them. One bonus is that they also add more mass during restringing so they don't get pulled up by the string being tightened.I do notice a slight increase in brightness of tone--which was unexpected, but really appreciated.Overall, these look great (I love abalone), sound great, and are super solid. I would replace any cheap brdige pins with these.

These brass pins worked perfectly they held him place good and snug no string slippage whatsoever. They also increased brightness and Boulder sound throughout the string range. On top of that a very noticeable increase in sustain would buy again.

These really brightened up my acoustic. The really noticable significant increase was sustain. Wow, I never thought of brass pins before I normally use Bone, Cocobolo or Ebony. I am so impressed with the quality of these pins and the overall improvement it made to my instrument, both tonally and aesthetically. Highly recommend if you have a lot of midrange punch and want to brighten that up a bit.

I don’t what they were thinking? These are not finished, don’t fit the holes, one lost it was chewed off and stuck in the hole. Some stick half way out of the hole. Then they scratched with absolutely no shine or top finish. I lived near ocean my whole life these look like quahog shell aka wampum more than abalone. These would only be good for an absolute junk guitar you’re trying to improve sound quality with a brass budge pin upgrade. Brass work is fine. I’m going to try putting resin over the shell and see what happens, can’t get any worse. I don’t know what I was thinking these were gonna go on a tonare t65e. So please don’t do it!!

The bronze faded a bit and they don't look shiny like the pictures.
