It works pretty well but it's not the Furminator. Takes a lot of the undercoat up but the blade doesn't hold a lot of hair. You need to grab a lot of loose hair with your hand while brushing keep it from rolling around on the floor. The dog enjoys it more than a regular bristle brush though, and she's not a fan of brushing to begin with.Still not sure if I'm going to keep it or return and pony up the difference for a real Furminator.

I have a short haired dog that sheds. This does an amazing job and she loves being groomed with it. Well worth the money.

I’ve never used one of these types of deshedders before, so I don’t have any to compare it to, but I’ve used other brushes a deshedding devices across multiple dogs, and this product was a total game changer. It worked perfectly on our beagle blend, who has mostly short / medium hair, and some long. She loved the brushing, and it couldn’t have been easier to use. It removed so much hair so fast, and kept it all from flying around. I couldn’t ask for more.

This brush is amazing for my cat with a rough coat. I would use a cat brush on my cat that would never get the hairs off her. This brush works amazing. I get so much fur off her. Now she is not shedding all over the house!

Poorly and cheaply made item, the button fell off straight away when I went to attach the comb to the handle :/ didn’t even have time to test it on the dog!

Best brush I have found so far! Works so well on shorter coats. Works amazing on my catahoula and also on a mastiff lab cross. Really helps keep coats nice and healthy - I constantly have people asking me how my catahoula has such a soft, shiny, and healthy coat and I'm sure this brush plays a part! I love brushing the dogs, and this just makes it all the more relaxing and enjoyable for me. I definitely recommend for shorter coats. Great value and works well!

If you have any furry friends (cats or dogs) please consider buying this Grooming Tool! It is literally the BEST deshedding I've tried. I have 2 cats (and one is an Orange Tabby & he sheds like CRAZY). See photos as a reference. I have 2 short haired cats who both resist every grooming tool I've ever bought from the gloves, regular brushes, silicone brushes, etc. But the shed undercoat like crazy, so I decided to try this brush since the price was good.Both cats immediately loved it. Even with just using very mild pressure to brush them, they both flopped over purring and allowed all full groom. Just the fact that they allowed any brushing earns this 5 stars.But it pulled off TONS of undercoat and loose fur from both of them very quickly. Amazing tool and it works beautifully.The only downside is that you have to pause a lot to remove the hair on the brush if you have cats or dogs like mine who shed like crazy. Also, best to use the tool in a humid room or with a damp grooming glove after every few passes with the brush because the brush will create a lot of static so any loose fur will stick to you, your carpet, your wall, everything. The instructions say not to get the brush head wet, which makes sense because it appears like it will rust easily, so with a swipe of damp grooming glove over the cats every few brushes, the static wasn't an issue and I didn't have to wet the brush.Overall, awesome brush that will absolutely get all that loose fur and undercoat on short haired cats quickly and easily. Sturdy but very light and the grip is comfortable to hold. Definitely recommend.

This grooming brush does a good job at removing loose fur from our dog. It works well for the price. The handle is very comfortable and it is easy to use. It removes a surprising amount of loose fur, which is preventing it from getting all over my house. The reason I did not give 5 stars is because I previously had the Furminator brand and it seemed like the “teeth” of the comb were heavier weight, and they didn’t seem as pointy, so maybe less likely to scratch our dog’s skin. It also had a button which pushed the loose hair in the teeth down making it easier to remove from the brush. It costs about 3 times more than this one. It was somehow misplaced, and rather than spending so much more I took a chance with this brand. It does a good job, so I’m satisfied with the purchase.
