I had used one in my shop for years before the handle broke and wouldn’t pressurize any longer. Here’s the secret sauce: remove the yellow pressure release and install a tire valve stem! Now you have a faster pneumatic bottle and to discharge pressure, just put your air chuck on it without the hose and use that to release the pressure. I did this for a couple years until my friend lowered a car onto it and broke it into pieces.

Great product . I returned the first one because of a problem , it was easy to return , and the refund was fast. I ordered another one and it literally came the next day after the one I returned. The Mityvac works fantastic and makes decanting automotive fluids , such as diff oil , and trans oil , like the newer 8-9 speeds , which are filled at the bottom @ the trans pan , effortless and so easy with the brass shut off valve , precise filling is very easy .

Love this fluid extractor/refill kit. Definitely use it for more than just transmission fluid. The adapters for the fill process are extremely versatile. Easy to use, works great, and good price. I always drain it at the end of every use. Try to keep fluid contamination as low as possible. Easy to disassemble for cleaning.

I prefer this to the tall vacuum/pressure unit from Mityvac I have. It's faster, less bulky, has a wide opening for easy filling and collecting the drained transmission fluid. Using the pump is not so bad. Sure it's work but the strokes are short so you can be under the vehicle and pump. With the tall Mityvac unit, the stroke is longer and the vehicle would interfere with the pump stroke. The hose on this unit is a clear soft vinyl type instead of the hard white plastic tubing on other units so it is very flexible and easier to feed through the obstacles getting to the fill hole on the transmissions. I'm very happy with this product. I should have purchased it sooner.

This is an excellent product and definitely professional quality as are my other Mityvac products (rebranded by Mac Tools).Unfortunately mine had a pressure leak where the quick connect attaches to the tank and seals with an o-ring. This only required minor tightening however the nut on the back side is very difficult to hold with any tool due to it's location and that it is surrounded by the molded plastic tank. I spent more time screwing around with the leak than pumping fluid back into the Mercedes and moving on.I would still recommend this product as it is the best you will get for professional use.

Got this out of the box to finally use to change my cars front and rear diff fluid and the handle was broke and it won’t hold air to pump out the oil. Seems like a nice product and pump but this one it broken. Hoping to get a new one sent out to me soon Amazon.

Works great for filling differentials and all types of gear cases. I did have a problem with air bubbles leaking into the oil stream. I contacted Lincoln (owners of Mityvac) via email and received an immediate response. I had a add some sealant between the pickup tube and the coupler in the top of the tank. Easy fix and no issues since.

I am speaking from experience, as I have bought the less expensive popular brand and returned it prior to this purchase. Mityvac is infinitely better built than the other brand. The other brand failed miserably, and cost me valuable time that I can't get back. Don't waste yours, buy Mityvac! Nothing would get the air out of my clutch, and my vehicle was undriveable for weeks. That's because I didn't buy this brand first! I thought it was "too professional" for the one clutch I needed to bleed. I will use this well made bleeder as long as I live. Look no further.

Very useful and well made tool. Makes filling up transmission very easy.My rant: If you own a German car, don't believe what Audi and BMW says regarding life-long transmission fluid. If you don't believe me, just email ZF (the actual maker of the transmission) and they will tell you to replace the transmission fluid after 100,000km. What's $400 of transmission fluid and transmission oil filter in a $55,000 car? Dealer will ask $1,500-$2,000 for the job. This tool makes the whole process a lot easier and cheaper (if you know what you're doing of course).
