After years of having StewMac and similar rave about using this for nut and bridge detailing, now I'm fairly certain folks were just looking for some sponsorship money. I'm pretty much going to leave the same review for all of the sizes I ordered because they all have the same problem. As you can see in the pics, this runs considerably smaller than advertised. It should be stated that they run +/- 20% on tolerance, because that's what I've found. This one is too small and led to binding in the nut and saddle. There are spots on the cord that touch .020". Most of the measurements were not even close to .025". Also, the material flakes off after one pass through bone or even plastic, let alone a metal saddle. I paid decent money for this roll. Should have ignored the hype and just bought a new file. Would last me a couple decades better than this will. I'll use it up, but definitely not on my guitar work.
