Have needed sanding cord for quite some time & finally bit the bullet and bought this after readingseveral different companies sanding cord reviews. Very happy with this one. Strong, gets into small places, and is good abrasive for my projects.

I received an empty, green colored plastic tube with no abrasive cord on it. Nothing even close to the description. Would give zero stars for this one. Am returning.

Have to be honest, I haven't actually used this cord yet, but I'm anxious to try it, because I've been trying to solve the problem of clearing dark turns in chair legs and rungs for years. Can't wait to see what actual sanding will reveal instead of hiding it all with stain and poly..

An Artisan/Craftsman friend turned me on to this abrasive chord. I was pleased to find it on Amazon/Prime and ordered this spool. It comes in various flavors and grits and I will be ordering some of the others soon. It came quickly and I was amazed at the quality and uses for this stuff.I work mainly in brass/bronze, aluminum and mild steels occasionally...although I have a silver brazed project on the bench and want to see if I can clean up the fillets a bit, with it. I particularly like trimming off a piece and using it by hand as you can feel what you are doing as well as see. I have not tried it in a fret saw but think it would work great for getting into odd geometries for final shaping and clean up.The other thing that amazed me is how long it lasts. I thought the grit would come out and get used up quickly, but it doesn't. What ever binding agent and chord they use is terrific. I made a small box lid with 3 dividers to save my various wear factor pieces and have only used one piece up completely. This is 10 times better than wrapping wet/dry around an object because you can get it into more places and have more control for finishing. Can't say enough good about this product and really glad my friend turned me on to it. I Highly Recommend it!
