Just recently bought surplus Jerry cans. Made the mistake of not replacing these gaskets before filling because of a possible winter storm. One was leaking from the gas sloshing when moved. These fixed that issue and now have extras for more cans in the future.

My Jerry Can gaskets were old and cracking so I bought these gaskets made by Mission Automotive. I am glad to say that they fit perfectly. The beveled side goes in first so the flat side faces out. I had to use a small flathead pocket screwdriver and needle nose pliers to remove the old gasket. There is a YouTube video showing to replace them. Just search for "Seal Replacement For NATO-Style Jerry Cans".

The gaskets fit NATO fuel cans perfectly, these are not for the pour spout, as that is a smaller gasket, however, there is a scribed line on the rubber gasket that if you cut carfully, will be the correct size for the pour spout.

This is a great set of replacement gaskets for the European style blitz cans They fit perfectly into the pouring spout, seal well (no leaks), and are ideal for replacing any lost/damaged gaskets.

Bought these looking to replace spout gasket for our Wavian 20L cans. As another review mentioned, these gaskets are too big for the spouts. But they fit the 20L Jerry can lid perfectly.

I have put up with a dribbling spout clipped on to my 20L jerry can for ages. This product is expensive but is the exact and correct replacement for the original 30yr old perished gasket. Easy to fit too.

I’m more comfortable storing gasoline in a metal container such as jerrycan containers versus the plastic containers sold at most big box stores at half the price. There is one caveat though, overtime the rubber gasket on the pour spout may dry out and potentially allowing leaks when you pour gasoline from the jerrycan. It’s good to have a supply of these gaskets on hand to replace any dried out spout gaskets. These are high-quality gaskets at an excellent price, buy some and save them for that rainy day. Note, I paid full price for these gaskets and have no affiliation with the seller nor Amazon.

I got a little uneasy when I read the package, "NATO [spec] Made in China". I didn't think China had much to do with NATO but I didn't want to be like your dad and just curse every Chinese product out of hand. I've seen plenty of fine products come out of China. These gaskets are not among them. At all. They... well, they don't fit. They're not the same shape as the original. They're thicker, too, which, even if you carve at them long enough to get them in there, I wouldn't count on your lid fastening down right. I did carve on one with an Exacto knife. Despite doing about the best job that could have been done it still doesn't stay in place and leaks. I own 3 different ages of NATO spec cans from 2 different countries and 3 different sources. They're all the same, these gaskets match none of them. One star awarded for the only thing they got right-- They faithfully copied the correct color: Black.Edit: I came back to edit this because I discovered that it was my spouts that they do not fit. They *might* fit the can lids; I don't know. It was my spout gaskets that were failing, not the cans. I beg your pardon for the misleading initial review. Beware-- of it's your spout gasket that needs replaced, these WILL NOT WORK. I'll edit my star rating accordingly.
