I was very impressed with the quality of the material when I received my catch cans for my 2015 f150. Everything was installed correctly and was running good for about a year. Come September of 2022 I start having heavy white smoke come out of my exhaust and would not stop. This made the truck unusable and I ended up having to get my engine replaced which cost 20k and no truck for 5 months. I just got the truck back and it seems okay but I will not recommend ever putting a catch can on any ecoboost. Fords in general now are too sensitive and break easily. I’m trying to get a refund but I have had trouble with Amazon, I guess since it’s been over a year. !!!!!THIS PRODUCT WILL DESTROY YOUR ENGINE!!!!

Very premium product and works great. As it should for $400. 5/5 in that aspect.Important Notes:Installation videos from American Trucks and Mishimoto are outdated. The tube colors changed. The videos aren’t explicit about the in and out tubes with the cans. I’ve attached a picture that should help. The tube locks are kind of a PITA. It took me a hot minute to figure them out. If they don’t lock easily, you don’t have the tube all the way on the ports. They updated the mounting bracket. Make sure you don’t drop that mounting bracket. You’ll never find it. I’ve attached a picture of what they changes. The catch cans are reverse threaded. Not documented super well.Keep turning the catch cans until they abruptly stop. They have a stopper on them. If it feels tight, keep going until you hit that stopper.I never had DTCs because I installed it right the first time. If you do get some DTC like a pressure issue, you probably flipped the pipes, didn’t thread the catch cans all the way, cut the gaskets on the CCV sensor, didn’t lock the tubes, or a hose clamp is loose.I have no clue what that sensor heater thing is on the CCV hose. If you damage it, the part number is #6758 on Ford Parts. Unfortunately it’s $65 and you have to order the whole hose. It might be on back order so be very careful.Hope you learn from this and have a trouble free installation! I’m intermediate when it comes to cars.Mishimoto has come far from being an eBay company. Products are nice but their tier one support can be a PITA. If you send them pictures, make sure you put them in a zip file. Otherwise their email security will block them.

Like the kit looks really good works great.I like how both cans are mounted and located in one spot. The only thing I would change is the system doesn’t come with a one way check valve I had to add one in to prevent back flow into dirty can side to manifold. Love the product tho

Dont get me wrong, the cans work and actually function extremely well. But, the fact that the formed hoses that you get dont match at all where thay are supposed to connect, the plugs in the cans are a cheapee plastic, where the cans are mounted is a huge inconvenience, and there are no backflow preventers/check valves to eliminate the p04DB DTC that these cans throw is extremely disappointing. There was very little actual engineering that went into this product. Save your money and buy one of the $30 cans for both sides instead, because thats basically what youre going to get with these.

So far so good knstalled it about a month ago and checked it recently and already had a good amount of oil in it. Was a very quick and easy install. It was a little tricky routing the hoses behind the engine but no big deal at all. Overall very satisfied with product and looks and feels to be made if good material. Will give a update on how much it caught once i do my first oil chage.

Absolutely horrible product!! This unit will trigger a check engine light! I have been dealing with their customer service department for months trying many different things to remedy the issue and they don't have a clue. I removed the system, put it back to stock and the CEL went away so I know there is nothing wrong with the truck. Now they have wasted so much time trying to fix it I am unable to return this defective product for a refund. Mishimoto refused do anything because I purchased on Amazon instead of directly from them. Horrible company and a junk product with not enough research and testing done on their products. Read the article they have on their website about the R&D on this item... they used 1 test truck, what a joke. I wish I did more homework beforehand and bought a catch can from a reputable company. I tried saving a little cash and going with the mishimoto instead I threw $400 in the garbage. Don't make the same mistake I did! DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THEM!!! ESPECIALLY THIS SYSTEM!!

No instructions at all with it. You have to find the install video on the Mishimoto website. The video instructions are ok, they could of had some better close ups. But overall the kit is awesome. Looks factory. Excellent quality! Video says it takes 3 hours to install..... not. It took 30 min max for me.
