This coverlet is perfect for my subtropical climate, thin and beautiful. It has help up well washed and dried every two weeks with no breakdown.It covers my king bed and goes to the floor.

I searched for a cover that was large enough for a claustrophobic, grown man-baby to roll over twice without launching me into the atmosphere. There weren't many options, but this blanket fit the bill. This is NOT a comforter, it is as thin as some sheets (I didn't know that because I'm an idiot and don't read reviews)...but it's still fantastic! I machine washed and dried and it came out with zero damage, discoloration, or shrinkage. I threw it over my existing too small, "stop stealing the covers", "why is my butt cold?" comforter and everybody is happy. A little pricey, but honestly I'll pay anything to get my husband to stop complaining about how he's literally being suffocated by our ridiculously tiny standard king size blankets made for giants.

Not at all like the old chenille. Mostly background with a bit of the "fuzzy" part. It looks nice when smoothed out, but nothing like the old soft, cuddly chenille. The size is why I ordered as it is considered "oversized" for my king size bed---so it will be nice for summer, but I have removed it now and stored away for the winder months.

I am using my oversized cal king chenille bedspread on my bed for the summer. It is a very nice spread that reminds me of my grandma’s from years ago. I really like it being oversized as it gives lots of room to tuck the pillows and hangs to the floor on the sides.
