Second time ordering the socks and not disappointed. Fabric is good and last well. I don't put them in the dryer so they don't shrink over time. Colour stays true if washed in cool water.

Do yourself a favor and turn your socks inside out and where the socks that way. Why have the soft smooth side on the outside of your feet? Feels better, try it. These are perfect socks for me as I work on my feet 10 hours a day as a construction plumber. I like how these stay up my calf, compress my feet, hold up to abuse, and are affordable. The very best socks are the darn tough ones made in Vermont but those cost 24 bucks a pair. These are the second best overall but for the price you'll be hard pressed to find a better made quality sock for your work boots.

I'm one of those people whose feet are BRUTAL on any and all footwear... socks, shoes, sandals, boots... you name it. These socks are proper workhorses. They've outlasted any socks I've ever owned, they're comfortable, think but not too think, breathable and they keep my feet DRY. I wear them for everything, I even have shoes that dig into my heels with other socks but not with these.Normally, socks I wear have a lifespan of about 3 mos and I finally wore a hole in one of the socks of the 6 pairs I bought after two and a half years of constant use. Most socks like this cost as much for one pair as these cost for 6... incredible value. These will be the only socks I buy for as long as this company is in business.

Bought these as I stupidly bought some too tight fitting boots, and needed some thinner walking socks. These are great. Seem very strong, fit snugly.No complaints!

I work from home and use a walking treadmill. I average about 5 hours of walking a day or 15 miles 5-7 days a week. I would consider this on the more extreme end of heavy duty walking.These socks are the best so far for holding up to this amount of walking. I have bought 2 sets and have had maybe 3 socks total blow out... which is incredible given that I first bought this socks 3 years ago. I even have transitioned out old "boot socks" for these as they provide amazing cushion. When paired with a good insole your legs will feel the fatigue before your feet do. The socks are simply the best I've found so far.Not a knock, but my only issue is that when it's summer and I walk inside, the socks are very warm from the ankles up. I'd love to find a no show version of these socks for the summer to help regulate heat. They are also a bit tight even on a fit person which makes bunching the sock down towards the shoe a little uncomfortable. This isn't a knock on the sock at all, but simply an acknowledgement that this sock is not the right sock for every condition. Come winter though, this is all that I want to wear.

I bought these sock for work. I work outside and walk many, many miles in both boots and wellies. Over the years I've learned to use a two sock system to save my feet from damage. These socks are perfect as my inner socks. They are both well fitting and low wearing whilst working very well with my outer sock. So what does that mean? Well they don't fall down and bunch up around my toes and they don't seem to wear excessively whilst working to the benefit of my feet with the outer sock and all that equals no blisters or rubbing and therefore happy feet. Worth the money

I never thought I'd need these, but I figured I'd buy some to go with my new boots, usually I just use generic boot socks, but holy heck was I wrong, these are great, I barely ever sweat in these unless I'm doing 10+ miles up straight and they are incredibly comfortable.Update ~ 1 year later:So these are holding up and in that year I've done a lot of hiking in boots and whatnot and in that years I've learned a lot. These are still great, BUT now I have used them against full synthetic or smart wool socks and unfortunately they cannot compete, if these get wet they dry faster than cotton, but nowhere near as fast as smart wool. On top of that they are not as good at wicking away sweat as a full synthetic sock. They were really great though until I started using more expensive options, now i can't imagine hiking in these, that being said they have developed no holes or show much sign of wear and I've sort of just incorporated them into my daily wear socks and they are comfortable and do great.

No more Nike Drive fit only when I have to shop for socks. These are most comfy socks I've owned. Easy can wear all day without noticing you're wearing them. I got sweaty feet and these socks wick the moisture better than Nike socks and unlike Nike socks thses don't build up foot odor. I wear work boots 8-10 hrs a day and by the end of day feet smell funky. I'm big on personal hygeine. With these socks I no longer need odor spray or any powder. I thought my feet were nasty. Turns out my choice of socks was the problem. I recommended these socks to all my friends and family. I gave away these socks for Christmas and everyone still wear them and bought many more. I've had mine for over a year and they haven't worn out at all. Still got perfect elastic, socks don't sag like Nike socks do after few months. Minimal color fading after about 40 wash cycles.Keep in note weather below 35 degrees these socks are not ideal. I wore two pairs on 10-35 degree weather. Kept my feet toasty. Then I found out they make winter socks. Problem solved :)
