I praise the versatility of this product, the ability to open and close it does make a difference, the ability to view stars at night and have shade in the day. The coating makes it hard to damage and it survived a Hurricane secured to a single large paver. It's a two person install but it's not heavy but doesn't feel cheap, parts are precision cut. It's been a year and no special cleaning has been needed. With a slight gradient drainage has been great and it has never over flow

I love being able to control the amount of light that comes in on the patio. Being able to completely shut the roof is great for shade and gives the dog shelter from the rain if she should get caught outside. With my furniture, lightning and fire table, the neighbors are quite envious.

I received this canopy the other day and was immediately impressed by the substantial packaging. The installation process was straightforward, a breeze for even a novice. The canopy's metal top is ingeniously designed to be retractable, allowing for an easy transition from sunbathing to rain sheltering. It proved its mettle today, as it rained during installation and the canopy excelled in providing protection. The robust construction of both the metal roof and its supports exudes durability. This purchase has exceeded my expectations, marking a truly satisfying shopping experience.

This was not bad at all to assemble. I was able to erect all the posts and crossbeams by myself but would be much easier with 2 - 4 people. After the 4 posts are erected, it gets a bit tedious adding all the louvers, but not too bad and easy to do. I definitely would recommend if you wanted to add an inexpensive shady area with the option of letting sunlight through by opening the louvers.

This is a great pergola for any backyard needs! It is pretty easy to assemble, although you may need 2-3 people in order to efficiently and effectively build it. For the price, it is most definitely worth buying, as it is sturdy, it looks great, and you’re able to get shade from the sun and rain.

it only took a day to assemble. Everything was organized in the boxes that it came with, including a little toolbox with all the parts bolts and screws in a little case really convenient made assembly a lot easier, but make sure you have someplace to put it until you assemble it because it takes up a large area in the boxes

I didn't luck out like my friend did by having the delivery people bring it an extra 75ft to around thee side of their garage. Oh well. They dropped it off in front of my garage. TWO BIG LONG BOXES on their own pallets. Each box weighs a lot! I rigged up and type of sled to drag it around the house to the back for assembly.Now for the assembly. directions were perfect, each part securely packed with no shipping damage. That in itself is remarkable. I've found over the years that a shipping company with an "X" in it, well...they seem to throw the packages around. So many reviews that I've read for so many products that were shipped by the X, seem damaged so badly that parts may be missing due to falling out of torn cardboard boxes. Anyway, this Pergola was delivered by third party shippers. Again, opening up the boxes and separating the parts was FUN. So much time and thought went into the design of the packaging itself. It was almost bullet proof. Very rigid custom pallets - PLUS parts all personally labelled correctly.Take your time putting it together, preview the booklet of instructions. If you know which end of a screwdriver to hold and where its “ON” button is (lol), you’ll do fine. Assembly when like a breeze, I did mine over a 2 day period. By myself, frame went up fairly easy (would be much easier with a helper) the 1st day in about an hour. Second day assembled the overhead louvers. That took the longest amount of time. Very well designed, Though I wish the clamps that hold down the louvers rotating axles were made of metal instead of plastic. Hope they are UV protected. This pergola is rock solid when done! I will open up the louvers when snow is predicted. During some of the heavy rains we get in the PNW, the water drained along the designed channels and then down the legs – as designed! I also raised the front two legs 1 ½” to aid in that drainage. All in all, it’s a great purchase for the dollar. The wife loves it, Happy Wife, Happy (well you know the rest of it) ;-)

We are happy with our purchase and it looks great. We had the item delivered in two weeks and had it delivered to desired part of the house during delivery. The customer service is exceptional, they had answered all our questions and provided great support. It would take a full day to install
