This signal generator is a device that provides electrical signals at a variety offrequencies, square wave, and output levels. It is used as a signal source or excitation source for testing. Widely used in production practice and technology.

This Signal Generator has two work modes: Normal Mode & Precise Mode.

Normal Mode:

Frequency range 1Hz~150KHz. Duty cycle range 0.00%-100%. Duty cycle accuracy 1%.

Precise Mode:

Frequency range 1Hz~15KHz. Duty cycle range 0.00%-100%. Duty cycle accuracy 0.1%.

  • 1. Connect to power supply
  • 2. Press rotary switch for 10second to switch Normal mode and Precise mode
  • 3. Short press rotary switch to set frequency and change value by rotating switch
  • 4. Press rotary switch for 2second to set duty cycle
  • 5. Keep press for 5second to lock set parameters
  • 6. Test
  • 7. Press button ‘ON/OFF’ to turn on or off PWM output
  • 8. Remove power and connect load to use module.

I bought this to use with a motor and power supply from a PaceMaster Pro Plus treadmill. I can’t say it was easy to figure out, but I know very little about circuitry. Eventually I got it working. Good deal.

This is a decent product for control of brushless motors and water pumps. My case is a Pierberg CWA-400 and this works flawlessly. There is another similar controller on Amazon but watch out as it does not have selectable frequency as this model does have full range of duty cycle and frequency. Pierburg pumps like 50-150hz and 95% duty cycle is 100% motor speed. If you set for 100%, the logic in the pump will allow for 90% pump speed. Just FYI, this is stated in the water pump manual/data sheet and test in my lab and in my car. 5 stars as it does what it claims and the internal clock is really close as verified by my rubidium standard.

Bought this to supply PW power control to a laser. A nice feature is the waveform can be turned off to turn off the beam. You might need to know something about electronics to connect it properly - instructions not very clear.

I used this to drive a treadmill motor controller with Pulse Width Modulated (PWM) pulses of 8-12 ms, repeated at 50 ms. The output high level is conveniently near the level of the supply voltage, so you can easily drive different circuits without interfacing. I also used this to drive a Watchdog Timer circuit on the controller, which needed 20 usec pulses every 500 usec. This was great for testing and for quick applications instead of wiring and programming a microcomputer board and adding controls and interface components.

I have started using this to test R/C servos and to output PWM values that normal R/C controllers don't so that I can test the range of the servos I am using. This unit does exactly what it's advertised to do, and I am very happy to have this as part of my test equipment. I will soon connect the serial interface so that I can control the unit from my computer. The serial interface was an especially thoughtful addition to an otherwise great product.There is one thing that I would like to see in a unit like this - the ability to vary the width of the on time of the pulse with greater precision than the precise mode gives you when operating at very low frequencies.
