I use these on my underwater camera housing for the arms for my strobes and for my modeling light. I love the small "keeper" on the side. I lost my modeling light one because the mount slid off after being locked tight for many years. With this, I can attach it to my housing and be safe. They work well!

These work just as well as similar but more expensive clamps for ball mounts. The only thing of which I'm uncertain is how long they'll stay in good shape after repeated dunking (and thorough fresh water rinsing/cleaning in between) in salt water.

Fraction of the cost as other ball mounts. The clamp system works well and is easy to tighten. If I needed more, I would purchase this item again. Used in salt water and no rust so far.
