This little chamfer/ round over plane cut surprisingly well right out of the box. It looks pretty good and feels surprisingly solid for a tool of this size. The only drawback is the finish. It comes off on the piece you are planing and even left a small mark about 5/8" of an inch from the corner being cut. This was easily fixed by a light sanding of the groove to remove the stain and also the bottom of the plane to soften the very bottom edges. A little paste wax and it's good to go. Definitely test this on some sample materials before using on your good project.
