HOW TO USE THE WINE OPENER?
1. Unscrew the cap on the needle, and then screw it into the tube, make sure it has been tightened, to avoid air leakage when opening the bottle.
2. Aim the needle at the middle of the cork, insert it vertically, and make sure that the needle completely penetrates the cork.
3. Hold the wine bottle tightly with your left hand, hold the corkscrew with your right hand, press the corkscrew up and down until you hear a "pop", the cork slips out of the bottle.
4. Carefully remove the cork from the needle.

This works like a charm. My son opened a bottle a bit too aggressively, nothing bad but if we had been outdoors we may not have ever found it again. The cork shot out like it was a cannon ball. Great product and the laugh we got out of the first bottle was worth the price.

I am so happy to test it immediately once I received it.I bought two, sent out 2 as gifts to family and friend.I will buy more as a good gifts for my fnancial seminars. I sent out aripods or iPad in the past, while I bet attendees would feel more exciting to this $10 bucks gift.Two weeks ago I visited a good friend's house, and as usual witnessed he use multiple openers with different designs. He must has 7+ kinds of openers, but none of those designs using batteries are durable or easy to use.This design DOES have a small issue: If one bottle is opened multiple times, the previous holes may release air resulting it not working well. I wonder if I put the bottom up, wine liquid might block the air out.

I was always curious about these, and so purchased one to try. It is very easy to slide the needle point through the cork and very easy to pump. Don’t pump too much as the cork will hit the ceiling! Very compact very well-made and fun to use. This is the one I now carry in my Wine bag.
