This is a good-quality electric wine opener. It takes 4 AA batteries. It is fairly easy to use and clean. I didn't have any issues getting the cork out and It wasn't torn up. Not that I worry about that part because I have a cork replacement that takes out the air. This does make it so much easier and quicker to open a bottle of wine. It would also be a wonderful gift for someone who drinks wine

Just opened my first bottle of wine with this opener. It's quiet & easy. Foil cutter worked as it should. I put in fresh 4 AA Batteries, grabbed my bottle of wine & it opened the bottle with no problems whatsoever. After uncorking the wine I then pressed the other button & it released the cork, again smoothly with no problems. Glad I found this one that uses batteries. I had a previous one that was rechargeable but eventually got rid of it because with no warning it needed to be re-charged & you couldn't use it while it was recharging. I always keep batteries on hand so not an issue for me. The housing is plastic so I'm not sure it would survive a fall. It feels "solid" in the hand with it not being too heavy or too light. If you prefer batteries I would highly recommend this item. When putting the cap back on when inserting the batteries or changing them out, line up the small little arrows.

I was a little confused at first, as it’s advertised as an electric wine opener but still requires batteries. That being said, it works great! This is the first wine opener I've ever had, and I’m really happy with it. I love that I can simply pop in 4 AA batteries and start using it right away. The foil cutter is easy to use and does the job well. Overall, I would highly recommend this product!

This replaces my rechargeable opener and is used a couple of times a week. I wish this was rechargeable!The auger is of a smaller diameter and stripped out my first bottle of wine - with a synthetic cork. It was a fresh bottle of Rex Goliath, and I've never had a problem opening their corks. I opened 3 more bottles of natural & synthetic corks without incident, so I think it MUST have been a bad cork. (wine was fine, so not defective).

My friend has a similar (albeit more expensive) wine opener set, and I found this to be equally effective. It doesn't take up much space and is simple to operate.

Received through the Amazon Vine program.This comes with the electric corkscrew and a foil cutter.I have opened a few bottles with this now, and it's absolutely a fantastic little unit. Nearly effortless to get the cork out, some bottles you almost can't even tell it's pulling the cork, its so smooth.I was thinking that one of these would make a wonderful gift for someone with arthritic hands, or perhaps some sort of disability that makes using a traditional corkscrew a challenge.Im planning to buy a few of these to give as gifts for the folks I know that are wine drinkers. This item is an easy one to recommend .

Let me preface this by saying I've used it one time because I'm not sure when I'm getting more wine.There may be a bit of user error or practice needed for this tool. I followed the directions and it took me 3 attempts to get the cork out and it was ruined, thankfully we have wine savers.It comes with an extremely handy tool to cut the foil off the bottle!! I mean that alone is worth the money for me.I'm going to keep using it because I do 100% believe there is just a slight learning curve with this product which is why I gave 4 instead of 5 stars.Pay attention to battery placement, I thought I knew and it took me like 4 attempts because I didn't actually look at the thing 🤦🤦 I was overconfident at 33 years old that I just knew where they should go.Overall I think it's a really cool tool to have, not a necessity but handy and funsorry I didn't get a video, I was by myself and trying to figure it out.
