I liked that I was able to get 8 waffles done at once. This was great for breakfast and brunch. I love having it when company comes and we are using it for dinner as well. It's easy to use, size is easy to get use to. And it was easy to get clean.

This product is excellent! I found the included instructions to be basically useless, and the brush is also unnecessary, but the waffle maker itself is great! It heated up very quickly. Plates are nonstick, though I did spray them the first time to be careful. However, after a batch, I found even spraying was unnecessary. The lights on the top helpfully show you when it's heating and when it's done heating up. For the recipes, I did scan the QR code provided, which was a cute but useless book. It says to put 1/3 cup of batter on each waffle hole - don't do that unless you want MAJOR spillage! So here is the recipe I used successfully:*Makes 32 mini waffles or 4 batches*1 cup flour (5 oz)1 Tbsp sugar2 tsp baking powder1/4 tsp salt1 egg3/4 cup milk3 Tbsp unsalted butter (melted and cooled)1/2 tsp vanilla extractWhisk together dry ingredients. Add wet ingredients on top and whisk until just combined. Batter will be lumpy; don't overmix. Use a small size cookie scoop not quite full and portion batter with 1 scoop into each waffle well (8 scoops per batch). Close and latch waffle maker and set timer for 3 min. Open waffle maker and check for doneness.I kept the waffles warm in the oven on a wire rack on 170 degrees F until they were all done.

Mercucci mini waffle maker works better than I expected! This heats up so quickly and cooks to perfection! Makes the smallest cutest waffles. You can place little dollops of batter into each spot for perfected waffles or if like me a busy Mom I put into each place no worry of it overflowing for can pop out the small waffles for the kids and the remainder for me - comes out like the iron full sheet of 8 waffles at once. Nice it works either way! The maker has a green light for ready and red for heating - the timing is perfect for once green light comes on waffles are ready or if like little crisper to add to dessert for decor crisp a little longer. Appreciate the cord wrap on the back for when storing. Easy to clean. Comes with silcone brush. The iron is non-stick - I did use cooking spray to be sure on first batch - comes out easily no mess!

This waffle maker is good for making bite-sized mini waffles. Because you can make eight at a time, they cooked up pretty quickly. I like to make a big batch of waffles, freeze them and then pop them in the toaster oven as needed for a quick breakfast. There is a strong chemical smell when you first heat this waffle maker up as is the case with any nonstick cooking appliance. I let the odor disperse for about 10 minutes. I cooked the waffles for three minutes and that was the perfect amount of time. They were easy to remove from the griddle and did not stick at all, but I wasn’t thrilled with the texture of the finished product. While they were not burned at all, the waffles seemed very dry and tough. I might try a different batter next time to see if that makes a difference. I don’t think I would recommend this one. In my opinion, the regular mini waffle maker is much better than this bite-sized one.
