So easy. Plug in and it gets hot. Lightly spray with oil. Pour batter across to lightly fill each circle. Close lid about 1 minute, open and hey presto! Hot delicious tiny waffles. We used a Bisquick instant batter in the bottle to make it even easier. Not fancy-- no buttons or dials. Just plug in or unplug.

This Taiyaki maker was a fantastic buy! It is super easy to use and makes taiyaki quickly. As long as you remember to grease the pan at first the taiyaki come out with easy. Pay attention to how much batter and filling you put in because it will explode out the edges if you don't measure almost exact, just like any waffle maker. It also does not take up very much space on the counter and can be easily stores

Gifted this to my niece for Christmas and we spent time together making Taiyaki. We found a recipe online, got ingredients and fired it up. Worked out of the box, easy to understand. Works like a waffle maker, easy to use and understand.Couple notes:The 'green' light isnt actually green...its a faint orange under the green reflector. So that threw us both off as we waited for about 20min for the iron to heat up. After my wife pointed out the light, we got to work.Use Pam or some other non-stick for additional ease of use. Instructions recommend it.Try not to overfill the molds with batter. The batter will expand. If you overfill, the batter leaks out the sides. Tough to clean up afterward.I'd like for the irons to be removable. That would make cleanup soooo much easier, but it is what it is.Overall, for the price, this is great and easy to use. With a good recipe, it makes some delicious taiyaki.

Cute size, easy to use, but stickiness is not easy to clean i feel like the heat level is off.

Love this machine and a lot of fun! I have made Yorkshire pudding in it, and use other batters.

When I ordered this I made the mistake of assuming these would be a little larger. That being said this waffle maker creates perfect waffle sizes for my toddlers! It is easy to use; just plug in and it has two lights that indicate “cooking” and “done”. It’s easy to clean and cooks quickly! Very satisfied with the purchase and price.

Does what it claims however it takes quite a bit of practice. Don’t give up right away. Oil it up well, don’t overfill.Cons: Teflon, so it will scratch easily with the metal pokers it comes with. I highly recommend using some wood or bamboo tools instead, like a skewer.Once Teflon is scratched it is unusable. So the wooden pokers aren’t the best option

What I love the most about this mini waffle maker is that the size is perfect for 1-2 bites. Easy to handle by my kids (no need to cut a big waffle into small pieces) and they can make mini waffle sandwiches since they're quite thin. If you're looking for thick or large waffles, this is not for you - the slots aren't deep to fit a bunch of dough and the waffle maker doesn't leave much space for the waffle to grow thick, but the thinness is what makes them great for my kids (and us). The other advantage is that the waffles are done within minutes and no kids lose their patience - 100% Win!

TLDR: this thing is crap, don't buy itI've been making waffles for years, so I know what I'm doing. The kids wanted something that looked like mini eggos so they could have tiny sandwiches in their lunch, so my full size Belgian waffle maker wasn't going to work. This thing looked perfect, but it was too good to be true. First of all, the directions are REALLY Bad. That didn't bother me, since waffle makers are all the same and simple to use, right? Well after I plugged it in to warm it up, and both the red and green lights were on at the SAME TIME (see pic 1 ), it ended up being the first problem of many.I would've probably not cared and overlooked both if the waffles came out great, but that was far from the case. Not only was heat control inconsistent across each batch, it wasn't even consistent across each waffle from the SAME BATCH.The worst part? They knew this was a problem with their design, because in the mostly non-helpful directions, there's a page that describes the un-even cooking as a design flaw, with their answer being " Cook some of them longer" ( see pic 2 ).If you look at the 3rd picture, that's not even a possible solution, because 1 mini waffle can come out burnt on one side, while near raw on the other!
