I hung one of these by each doorway of the house and a couple near the garage. We normally have hundreds of wasps around the house & garage, but this year there is a very rare one that comes by.I bought it to keep wasps away, but they also seem to cut down greatly on deer and horse flies.

I was a little skeptical purchasing these, because to the human eye, they don't look like much. But to the wasps, who loved my porch, hovered at my patio entrance, would get confused and fly inside, they work great. Since hanging a couple, I haven't seen a single wasp. Perfect. This littler size are more suitable for a smaller patio. The only thing not so great, is that they tear very easily when inserting the hanger.

We’ve had issues with wasps for a while. Cleaned out the nests, hung these and they haven’t come back! Hoping they stay away!

Got this because wasps are super territorial, and other flying insects are afraid of wasps.Because it isn’t waterproof/resistant I put it uber a table I had and it kept away the flyers for a while.But as the insects got used to it being there, they are getting more blasé about it.I suggest moving it around every few weeks, just to keep the flyers on their “toes”.

I’m not sure how well they work. But we did seem to have less wasps in our yard. I feel like the real test will be next year. I do like the smaller size decoys. They seem more natural.

It was a nice thought to use these and believe that the wasps and hornets would stay away. They did not. They did not care. I truly believe that anyone who’s had luck with these was just that.. luck! We had to have two nests taken care of. The fake nests came down because they were useless.
