This product is very disappointing. For starters, it was on right out of the box. I was a little confised at first but then realized that there's not even and on/off switch; if the batteries are in it (which they were), it's on. Who knows how long it had been on after manufacturing. Secondly, it's muuuch smaller than I expected it to be. I know the product dimensions are listed in the description but upon arrival it's diminutive size just took me by surprise. I actually laughed out loud. Thirdly, it's inaccurate: after letting it settle for an hour at room temperature I tested it against two insta-read thermometers that I know to be accurate within a few tenths of a degree and this one was consistently off between 1.5 and 2 degrees Fahrenheit over the course of several minutes. I know it's inexpensive but you should save your money and buy a better product.

This little guy is really cute. I admire the tiny package, it's more than big enough to display the details. My only complaint is how tiny the temperature reading is compared to humidity. I don't care about humidity, just the temp. I realize some other people might care more about the humidity, but to compromise, they could at least give equal screen space to temp and humidity. The temp reading is so tiny I can't actually see it if I'm more than about two feet away.The instructions are also minuscule, so get out your glasses. The two pieces of white paper I actually threw away at first. I realized after reading the tiny piece of paper that they are double sided tape meant to stick the unit onto a vertical surface. Good luck with that; the tape is thin and probably useless. I didn't try it.
