This veneer edge cutter is the best I have ever used. There is no tearing out on the edges. Light and easy to use, this the best cutter I have ever used. This is not the first one I have used. So this time I ordered the one with 5 extra blades as it's easier and cheaper to make sure I have extra blades on hand. I keep several of these in different places in my shop so I can always find one of them when I need one. This is a great cutter at a good price. I definitely recommend these to any one who does veneer work. The price point is very good. There is one with a wood handle, but for me the phenolic just feels better in my hand.

I rarely leave reviews, unless I am impressed by simplicity, engineering, and efficiency. And this is impressively...good! I have used it on just two cabinets, about 50 feet of edging, and I cannot speak of the longevity, but so far I have to say this is great! Ok, I also have the "other" one with the double blade and plastic housing that everyone seems to get, but first, that is very expensive, and even more important, it never ever worked for me. I constantly have to do multi passes, and when the strip of edging that comes off always seems to find its way into my fingers. And it hurts. Oh, and most important, it always finds the unevenness in the edge of the wood and will dig into the wood, which means I have to sand the gouge and re-finish it!So, solely for the price, I saw this and wanted to try it. And now? NEVER going back to the other one. Not only it gets in places the other can't, but it is surprising stable, much, much more intuitive getting into position, so...why would I ever use the other one?!? I am getting two more to take with me to Europe, and another as a backup here in the States, and...even then all four of them are cheaper than the plastic one! Can't recommend it enough. I see that they sell other ones under other brands, but I would imagine all of them would be as impressive.

Great price, great quality and easy to use. The blade dulls fairly quickly, so if you plan on using it for large job, I’d recommend getting a couple replacement blades with it.

This worked perfectly, i was going for a budget friendly option cuz i only had one project to do, i bought it with the extra blades, and it worked fantastic, definetly recommend this for people on a tight budget or just anybody, work great!!!

I already have a ‘high quality’ edge band trimmer, made in the USA, that doesn’t work as well as this one. The one I have has corner guides to help you stay on track, in theory, but they get in the way more often than I’d like, so I went in search of a flat version to do more near corners, etc.I’ll admit my expectations here were low. This one is simple and inexpensive, so I figured I’d just take a chance and if it ended up being a wash, oh well, but to my surprise and delight, this works better than any of the other edge trimmers I’ve used and instantly became my favorite! The fact that it’s flat allows me use it in more places where the other versions can’t go, and it comes with the extra blade to flip around once the first one dulls eventually. Big fan, very happy, would definitely buy again.
