I really like how small these are. It makes it easier to have control over the cut you are making but not so small that they would be hard to hold. They are really handy to have around, I used them for installing window film and they worked like a charm.

Very small scalpels packaged in a huge box. I put a 1$ bill for size comparison of both the box and the scalpel. Unfortunately, I ordered the #11 when I wanted #10. I think the former is better to puncture whereas the later is better to slice. The mistake is on me but in my defense, the seller shows both types on the box, which is confusing. The #10 box only shows those particular blades so I removed 1 star but that aside the blades come individually wrapped, they look robust enough and are very sharp. Good quality!I like the fact they are smaller in size and thus, very versatile. I have some in my survival kit, a couple in my first aid kit, my toiletry kit because I travel for a living. They’re useful to slice calluses. I also use them for several other projects, like models, opening envelopes, etc.Good price for 25, which are probably as many as I’ll ever need.

I know I rated a few of the subcategories with lower scores but overall I definitely give these five stars. I have pretty large hands so holding these blades with the mounts that they come on just makes me a little nervous if I'm trying to use it for a larger application. my main reason for getting these was to use half of them for a pocket knife I have that takes the same blade Style. I also thought it would be kind of nice to keep some of them in a bug out bag or even my little EDC tin. they are very convenient and very easy to carry and stash in the car or again in a bag or little case. they are obviously extremely sharp and they do come with cover so you don't have to worry about accidentally stabbing or cutting something. definitely a great item to put in any kind of camping gear or first aid kit. definitely recommend for a variety of uses.

These blades were purchased for dermaplaning, however they are not sharp enough compared to other blade's I've used. On the plus side, the blades are individually wrapped, have a safety cover and are disposable. I'm sure I will find another use for them.

According to the listing these are not sterile and are not individually packaged. The box that showed up to my house was full of individually packaged scalpels that say sterilized with gamma radiation in big letters across them. So there's that. As far the scalpels go they're basically just a small razor blade pressed onto a small plastic handle which makes them easier to handle and use. These would be good for emergency surgery or crafts, whichever your day brings to you. They could also be used for anything that requires a very sharp blade for precise cutting. I tossed the original box and dumped them into a pouch I had laying around as the box was not very sturdy. I'm sure it wouldn't last long sitting around collecting dust over the years it will take me to use all of these.

Originally, I wanted these for my first aid emergency kit (not that I hope to EVER need to perform surgery on myself or my loved ones). I quickly realized that these will be super for my leather craft needs; doing detailed filigree work and cutting out delicate shapes. They can also be used nicely for rounding edges on heavy leather items. However, the real purpose for these is medical; as such, they make a great emergency addition to a first aid kit. Since there are 25 in the package, I am also putting them in my tool box (wire stripping, rope cutting). I was thinking that if I can figure out how to access them, I'd like to make them part of my "escape the car" kit? (As in, cut through the seat belt in emergencies.) Anyhow, the fact that each one is sterile and has its own protective cover makes these a really super bargain, whether for medical use or for crafts.

I have to admit that I was a little dubious when I ordered these. When this large, flat-ish box arrived at my door, I thought I was right. I mean 25 mini scalpels in this box?Boy was I wrong! As you can see in my pictures, the scalpel isn't very long, but long enough to hold in your hand and use it.Use it with precision cutting. I had an envelope and used the knife on it. Cut right through it.Next test was a cherry tomato. Sliced right away, no hesitation. And cherry tomatoes are hard to slice without having any issues. They come individually wrapped, sealed for keeping them sterile until you need to open them. Very easy to open, in case you have an emergency.I purchased these for my husbands' little fishing boats' first aid kit, and his fishing boxes (not using in boat). Plus, some for our little campers' first aid kit. Also, I lot of times I need a sharp little knife when I am doing crafting. Some will go in my bathroom drawer that is all first aid items.I love these scalpels. I might just have to purchase another box, as I want to make sure friends and relatives have some of these in their first aid kits.

It's durable, for a CHEEP tool, VERY sharp & smaller, but not hard to haddle.
