This is exactly what I expected from an economy grade machine.It's got a small footprint, which is nice. And it's super affordable.It needs to be spun with exact symmetry, otherwise it's off balance and can vibrate.Display is easy to read, easy to use. It's a nice choice for a school science lab, which is what I'm using it for. Thumbs up.

Compact, well made, works great:This mini centrifuge machine was the perfect addition to my home lab, which doesn't have a whole lot of space to fit in larger pieces of equipment. The size makes it easy to fit on my very busy work desk and it's light enough to move around without issues. The quality of the materials used is also pretty high - it's not quite as durable as some other centrifuge machine's I've used in the past, but given the current ~$130 price tag, it's definitely meeting my expectations. In terms of performance, this product is well balanced and spins around smoothly, without noticeable thumping or friction that can plague some older models or those that have experienced a lot of wear and tear. The digital display also makes it simple to operate and intuitive to use.Overall, this is a great product and I would recommend.

The pros of this machine are the budget price (priced low for a reason), the RPM speed, timing functionality and compact size. So far the machine performs as expected with a few pain points.The cons are the instability of the unit when not 100% balanced. If there is a slight imbalance in the liquid or symmetry the machine will vibrate wildly and sail across your work surface. The other issue is the quality of the material for the machine isn't really suited for long term use. Also, the design could be better for the covering dome. One improvement would be to eliminate the plastic gasket that easily pops out of the base during cleaning and because of its size and translucent color, is impossible to find. It comes with tubes in a variety of sizes which is nice. This machine is a decent introduction level unit for someone just starting to explore this part of science.

LACHOI Mini Centrifuge Machine 1000-10000RPM LCD Display Adjustable Speed Microcentrifuge Mini Centrifuge Benchtop with 2 Rotors for 8×0.2/0.5/1.5/2ml Tubes&2×8×0.2ml PCR Stripsokay so full disclosure i thought this was a paint mixer. i didnt realize it was a science. so understand i am a layman. i thought without really deep digging that this was one of those vibratory doodads that you can use to shake testtubes or model paint. it is not that! this is science stuff. for sciencey people. and sciencey people who use tiny little test tubes doojiggers. this comes with two heads one is a cylindrical inverted cone shape and the other =for much smaller tubes is rectangular. this comes with what i assume is a started kit level of mini test tubes of three sizes, and adaptors so they all fit. this item did not come with instructions which i really would have appreciated. there are 5 buttons and a power switch. one button opens the lid and terminates the spin. then there is a plus minus left-right arrow and a square. it is not immediately obvious to me what these are all meant to do so i just kept pushing stuff till stuff happened. the square means go. the right-left arrow means speed adjust and the plus and minus let you change the runtime and the speed. which can also be done on the fly. it is super quiet but if not seated properly on the table it did have a tendency to whirr a bit. but i shook it and reset the position and that went away. it seems like a quality device but it is for working wtih really small quantities of material.

So it's a bit of overkill that I got this, especially since it's just for doing various science at home just for fun. But, I figured I may as well give it a shot. I haven't fully set up my lab area yet and so haven't been able to fully test it in "real life" conditions, but overall I'm quite satisfied so far.

I got this because I like to study various things. I use this to separate white blood cells from red blood cells. I then study them under my microscope. I do this as a hobby and nothing more. I am also going to be using this in the future when I start messing around with mycology again. It came with some centrifuge tubes but I would suggest ordering more. Super easy setup and it arrived fast and without any damage to the box.
