This device seems to work well. I've always wanted a centrifuge but don't have any use for one really. However, this seems to fit my needs. It spins up and pretty fast, too. I imagine it would work for it's intended purpose. The mini part of it might be a problem for some but then again if you are using a mini-centrifuge, you probably know it's limitations. It seems well built and it's compact size means you can tuck it away if you are short on space.

I regularly test every new centrifuge on the market and provide reviews. This particular one is similar to the average micro centrifuges that I use in our research and teaching labs. It's small and lightweight, yet sturdy and quiet. I appreciate the strong build quality and the fact that it runs smoothly. The operating mechanism is easy to use and intuitive. It's simple and effective. I can't speak to its durability yet, but it seems good. I'll update this review after more extensive testing and use. Overall, I like it and highly recommend it!

Does its job well enough. This thing is a very basic plastic "centrifuge" thats mainly just a motor in a shell. Nothing fancy, so don't expect this to be lab grade in any way. I needed something simple and small to separate a thicker liquid, and this did get the job done. But if you need something that can do some serious lab work, look elsewhere

This mini centrifuge is perfect for my small lab. It's compact, quiet, and easy to use. The two rotors provide flexibility for different sample sizes, and it spins smoothly and efficiently.

This is well designed for small samples. It is single speed, said to be 7000 rpm, and just has an on-off switch. No timer either, which I don't mind because there is less to learn to operate and less to break. It makes a bit of a whine when running, but after all it's a machine and it's spinning very fast. One might expect the frequency is somewhere around 116 Hz (7000 / 60), but it seems there are frequency components higher than that. Spin-up is very fast, spin-down is probably 30 seconds or less.

I was kind of disappointed to not receive any vials with it. I checked what they cost and you get 1000 for $16, I would think they could have thrown a dozen or so in the box. All I can do is turn it on and listen to it spin, not very loud, but I don't really care how loud it is. Not much in way of instructions, though I know I need to keep it balanced. So I'll use it, but I have to see about getting the vials for it now.

It's small, simple, and as advertised. It isn't a super powerful centrifuge, but it will probably work just fine for light tasks like spinning some cells from suspension.
